You guys always seem to be the best people to ask for help, that said, I hope you dont mind me bothering you again. Does anyone know what Perfect Nav is, why its on my computer, and how to get rid of it? I see it everytime a webpage fails to load, and I read someplace that its spyware that can lead to other problems. I have run anti-spyware programs in the past, but Im going to do it again, and let you know what happens. In the meantime, what do you guys know? Thanks.

Perfect Nav is a browser redirector that sends all mistyped URLs or other faulty page loads to a Perfect Nav webpage. You most likely got it because you're running Kazaa 2.6

If you're comfortable with editing your registry, you can remove it manually.
If you're not 100% comfortable editing your registry manually, for God's sake do NOT attempt to just wing it.

To remove it manually, find and delete the following keys (if they're there):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {A045DC85-FC44-45be-8A50-E4F9C62C9A84}
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer\Browser Helper Objects \ {A045DC85-FC44-45be-8A50-E4F9C62C9A84}

Restart, and then go find a folder called PerfectNav (probably in your Program Files directory)

Then start IE, click Tools > Internet Options and go to the Programs tab and hit "Reset Web Settings"
