The forums are dying. We must do something, anything to keep them alive.

Its futile.

There is nothing left. All we can do is help the newbies that come.

The sure way to make this forum die is to put up pointless threads. You should be posting something that will snag the attention of everybody.

Like Open Sourcing Startopia.:D

Open Source Startopia!!!!! Please!!!!

I think it would do very well in the Linux community! Has anyone from Muckyfoot actually commented on the possibility?

I'm pretty sire i've said this before...

I spoke to Guy Simmons (Ex - Director of Mucky Foot ) on IRC and he said he was gonna open source it.

This was in December and he said he was working on it. I dunno whether its gonna happen but there is chance it may..

You should check up with him on what he's managed to get done. Just keep bugging him at anyrate.:D

His ability to open source it may depend on whether or not Eidos wants to keep the rights for later sequels (unlikely at this point but you never know... just look at Zork).

he also told me he owns the rights. So if he wants to open source it he can.
