What in God's name is a taffer? I'll get the phrase "Is someone taffing about" stuck in my head if I don't find out...

I have come to accept it (numerous past threads and my own thaughts) as a derogatory term. In every day slang it can be quite versatile - particularly whenever children are present and I need to cuss! ;)

One must complete the three stages of "Grubberness" before one reaches true Taffer status. :)

I am English, but I rarely speak true English. I prefer Unglosh. :)

Just replace the word "taffer/taff" with anything else, like "dlck", "goof", "dork" or w/e.. and you'll soon see the true meaning of Taffer. hehehe j/k:D

I think it means:
Someone who deceives other people.

Hence:
Stop taffing with me.
Is someone taffing about.
You taffer!

It's also an insult, suggesting that your word is not trustworthy.

There is absolutely no way I could ever use the word Taffer out loud. It sounds far too similar to the worst racist word in South Africa (replace T with K). I'd be burnt at the stake.
