I've been wondering whether people here use the mapmaker to make Storymode maps, deathmatch maps, etc. I won't make it into a poll because there are too many things to list, etc. I'll just let you say.

So far on mapmaker i've done:

6 levels storymode (1 continuos story)
2 deatmatch

Me and my friend enjoy making storymode maps for each other, and then challenging each other to beat them. I can usually get through his with no problem. Nothing is better then wacthing your friend fail at a level you designed!

Oh yes Thezombiemessiah, if you have posted your story maps anywhere on a map site or something I would love to try them out.

I like to make complex multiplayer levels with lots of hiddey holes. I just love arenas that fold back on itself over and over. Something like the complex in goldeneye. I only make missions everynow and then. Me and some friends have a long running back and forth challenge. One of us makes a story map, then the other trys to beat it. Then You switch.:D

I don't know how to get them up on any sites yet...i'll try and draw them out, etc. But it might take a while.

Hey Yoshi and Zombie, you're both on gamecube right? Did you guys know that you can trade maps online (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ngcfs/) with either a BBA (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/223873.asp) or a USB memory card (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=78&products_id=2359)? It's a lot easier than drawing out maps ... especially if stuff like the game logic and enemy patrols are complicated. Also, there's a good library of maps already there, both multiplayer and story mode (some of which will definitely take you MUCH more than 10 minutes to beat). Anyway, check it out.

I usually make story or deathmatch myself, my friends dont have the game so i usually do story modes for when they come round. Yet when bored i am prone to do stupid missions, the latest involved every bot to be the impersonator set on spawn and attack (assorted weapons) in a long hallway of about the large open double x3 across and from side to side of the whole thing. At one end the impersonators and the other a number of turrets, the gap between is filled with boxes to make aiming a problem. Its quite fun to make these maps to get rid of tension. other than that i made 3 stories consisting of 7 maps each and 5 deathmatch levels. I just love this game! what more can i say?
If you cant beat em... confuse em!

I did the exact same thing, except with ducks!:D The idea came to me while playing an old round of duckhunt for NES.

Definetly go check out the mapmaker - Timesplitters 2 level editor forum (http://forums.eidosgames.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=84) . It's loaded with helpful threads on story mapmaking and other things. There is also a bunch of links to mapmaker sites in there to. It just takes a bit of looking.
