Mistake
4th Dec 2003, 22:14
i know it sounds weird but i don't have a user.ini file. i'm in the root folder for the game and its not there. i didn't delete it and i am showing system/hidden folders...its just not there. i've installed, repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired and its still not there. any ideas?

also i'm having the problem of not being able to save in or advance past the final couple of rooms in the labs. here's my dxdiag log:

I had both of your problems. The user.ini file is just in the My Documents->Deus Ex folder you should have. I had that save problem, though, and at the exact same location. What I had to end up doing was reloading to a previous save, and it fixed everything. I assume that the problem with that save is that it's corrupted.
