Ok first off
p4 2.6ghz
1gb RAM
ATI Radeon 9800PRO

i think thats all that matters for now

anyways, when i play the game looks fine...for a while. Small flickers begin to occur and then the screen degrades into flickers and weird geometric patterns that converge on the centre of the screen.

someone was saying that this is characteristic of overclocking or something like that but i dont know what that means

i have the directx9 and the catalyst 3.9 ATI drivers

my PC is obviously powerful enough to run the game, why are there these graphical errors?

if you need to know any other specs let me know.

This game's graphic engine is retarded, that's why everyone is complaining.

this has actually happened in SOME other games, SOMETIMES

in DXIW it happens non-stop, i would like to know what it is and how to fix it

does it have anything to do with refresh rates etc?

This game's graphic engine is retarded, that's why everyone is complaining.Unless they modified the Unreal engine with the specific intent of making it run like crap, I don't think that's the case. Higher res textures, higher poly models, all that could be done.

Unreal Tournament 2003, for example, uses a less-modified version of the same engine, and its graphics are superb.

how about we talk about my problem, not opinions of the unreal 2 engine

I don't like unreal engine too much it's nice but not extremely smooth.

was that supposed to be a joke

does anyone know how to fix this. i know the demo sucks, but i would still like to develop my own opinion and i cant through all the crazy colours and corruption
