Maybe I missed it, but this was not covered in the rules... why can't we use avatars?:confused:

I believe they took them out because of bandwidth issues (?) I'm not sure. Instead you can get a spiffy sig like mine and others. Over at the Eidos General Chat you'll see a thread about sigs near the top.

I think Lil Lara may be correct.
Besides, why use a dinky 50x50 graphic when you can do something a lot more spiffy!

Oh, but it's ever changing depending on my current needs.
The howitzer is deployed elsewhere at the moment.

why not allow off site avatars with restrictions such as "not over ?? x ??px" "no profanity" "no nudity" ect... ?

Because people don't read them and if we tell them they feel annoyed and refuse to change them. We even had to disable sig pics once because people thought they understood our rules better than we do.
