I have been gone from the eidos forums for a while, but incase you forgot me my name is Jack. I have heard the shocking tomb raider news, but I am glad core is taking their time on the game. Well I want to ask about graphic cards because I want to play TR: AOD on the PC, the thing is that I have a crappy graphic card. And I do not have a AGP slot, I only have a PCI slot. And the only good PCI card I could find is the Geforce4 MX420. Will this card work fine with tomb raider: Angel of Darkness? if it doesn't than is there other PCI cards that do?

It will be fine.

You do not say what processor you have or how much RAM you have.
Even though the video card itself would be ok for AOD, a slow processor and little RAM would cause difficulties, however, if you have at least a PII 500mhz or equivalent processor and at least 128 mb RAM, this, and the Geforce4 MX420, would be sufficient.

I have a Pentium III 1002MHz with 256MB of Ram. I do not have the geforce card yet and will not plan on getting one since I just found out my computer was not made for games and a PCI card could screw up some stuff on my computer since Sony specialily built the sony vaio LX920 a different way. So I am stuck with the SiS 630/730 16MB card. Will the SiS card work with AOD?

Your frame rate will be particularly poor using this system for 3D games something like 15fps and so I would not recommend playing 'Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness' on it.

I think you answered your own question. :D :p

I'm confused though, why buy this kind of system if you wanted to use it for games?

Older games work fine, I got the system because it is very art related. it comes with a pen to draw with and everything. For newer games it is not so good. I love playing tomb raider on the PC. My first TR game was TR2 and I played that on the PC. So thats why.:)
