Try asking in the FFVII forums.

I don't know if you forgot yourself.....but this IS the FF7 forum.

Anyway....

I can't help you with your Win2000 problem.....I can leave you a link to another discussion.

As for the TNT patch....it'll work with just about anything. Get yourself the latest Detonator drivers, then from the patch copy over the Config.exe file to the FF7 directory. Ignore the FF7.exe from the patch. http://www.nvidia.com/

This should allow you to select Direct3d Acceleration.

As for Win2000, I hear downloading a patch from Microsoft, and using the Chocobo patch might work....Win98SE is really what you should be using with FF7.

I have a geforce 2 Which is basically a riva or tnt card Same chip,
the patch is for 95/98 & me, 2000 & xp are a different kettle of fish, i cant get ff7 to run on xp & ive tried everything, So now i shall buy FF8 or 9 i f i do get it to work i will let you know, had it work once but coudnt get it to again, its to do with the newer drivers, if you install older drivers it may run but its but for the system to have the newer ones.

For getting FF7 working under XP, read the official announcements (http://forums.eidosgames.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=69)

FF9 wasn't released on the PC only on the PS2.

That doesn't mean you can't play FF9 on your PC.....

ePSXe
with Null's Sound driver
with Pete's video driver.

emulator :)

you may try it, but I warn you, it looks ugly as hell..., and it ruins the game, I have bought a PS2 with FF 4 till 10(except 7 and 8 of course, which I have for PC) and it was worth the money, esspecially X, but if you want to use emulators(or however you write it...) I won't stop you...
