This was suggested to me in email yesterday, and I thought that with new people, it might be worth a shot :). (I first started this a year and a half ago.)

Take any user ID, or item from the game, and make phrases or sentences from each letter. The resulting sentence(s) don't have to be about Thief. For instance, when I first did this on the old forum, we had a member with the ID of Young Garret. I don't remember all of the sentence that he came up with, but part of it was Only Ugly NightGowns. The rest of the sentence spelled out all of his I.D. It was very funny, as I recall.
I'll start with a member's I.D.:
Gerbils
Mainly
Are
Nocturnal

And BTW, the names etc. can be used more than once, of course. So feel free to use gman again.
And they don't have to be complete sentences.

LOL, yubetcha - nice ones all! As it happens, I wrote a paper in 1997 about using 'surrealist tales' to explore what happens in school classrooms: so 'voraciously uses surrealism' may be more accurate than you knew!
