Of their titles officially on the list, only Theatrhythm, but E3 usually holds a lot of surprises, so we'll see come next week.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the FFXIV 2.0 panel, even if we aren't getting the new trailer.

Honestly, Sleeping Dogs. I love Hong Kong and all of the stuff I've watched on the game makes exploring the city seem amazing. I'm also somewhat excited about Kingdom Hearts 3D, though less-so because I prefer the KH console games to the handheld ones.

Outside of Eidos Square has a terrible lineup this year. For me anyway. If they don't announce a 20th anniversary remake thing for FFV at least I'll be pissed off. I'd like them to bring up Type 0 as well. Or even Type 1.

Expectations set to low.

Grabbing hold of Eidos helps save Square Enix's Western appeal, but unfortunately that's all they have. This is Square Enix's weakest Japanese showing in years (and I thought I would never say that again after last year). Not a single console JRPG from SE this time around. That is extremely disappointing considering it is Kingdom Hearts' 10th Anniversary and Final Fantasy's 25th Anniversary. The only strong handheld game is Kingdom Hearts 3D. Square has so many things they could show off here to grab the Western audience which is a huge market, but they just don't have a strong list. All of these games could help them save face:

Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Final Fantasy X HD
Final Fantasy Type-0
Dragon Quest X
Kingdom Hearts HD Collection

It feels as if Square Enix is in developmental hell with most of their big name titles, and they are keeping their fans in the dark from an information perspective. We haven't heard from Type-0 since Ultimania. We haven't heard of Versus XIII since early 2011. We've seen and heard virtually nothing of Final Fantasy X HD. Dragon Quest X has been taking its time. KH HD would give them an instant money grab and it wouldn't even be that difficult a task to brush over the graphics. Square has been very disappointing at E3 for many years now (When they were good was when they showed fake footage of Final Fantasy XIII. Great move, Square). It's time to right the ship.

So I might have to work Wednesday and Thursday, which means no Spike or G4 for me. What site would be the best place to get progressively posted recaps of everything major covered those days? It would be preferred if said site had a mobile version. I'll be hanging around the GameFAQs DDD board looking for any KH info, but I would like to follow as much of what happens as possible

I don't know if this will work, but

e3.gamespot.com/ (http://e3.gamespot.com/)

Also, the main press conferences are today and tomorrow, Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft are later today, and Nintendo is tomorrow.

I don't think SE has their own press conference, but my eyes will be peeled for any announcements at the Sony or Nintendo press conferences for anything SE related.

Maybe MS, with news of Versus going to multi-platform.. oh man.

Anyways, 2 and a half hours until MS, then it's EA at 1 PM PST (4 EST), Ubisoft at 4 PST (7 EST) and Sony is at 6 PST (9 EST)

Tomorrow Nintendo is at 9 AM PST (12 EST)

Anyway I'm excited for these Square-Enix titles:

Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Final Fantasy Type-0

Final Fantasy XIV 2.0

Kingdom Hearts 3d

Tomb Raider

Hitman Absolution

Im also excited for Atlus', Konami and Capcom games

I feel like watching E3 today was a waste of my time with no SE surprises - it's a big anniversary for two of their major franchises! (25 for FF and 10 for KH). If Nintendo has no SE surprises I will be sad... also! I caught a glimpse of Versus XIII during one of the E3 trailers, it had Noctis with his weapons floating around him. I guess it was last year's trailer? That little clip got my hopes up :(

I heard "Snow from Final Fantasy XIII" and my heart jumped. But I think they were talking about something related to Troy Baker, not Snow himself. I guess Troy is voicing someone in Last of Us.

Aw man. I'd buy PS Vita Battle Royale in a heartbeat if Snow was playable.

Really weak showing from Square. Handhelds aren't going to carry them to the promised land. Sora fighting Fruit Loop monsters and playing some music does not keep me up into the late hours of night gaming away. Nor does it cause a transfer of money from my wallet to Square's.

In that Playstation All Stars presentation, they mentioned the "Michael" TV spot. If you watched that commercial closely, you could see Lightning in that tavern with the rest of the game characters.

Not that it particularly means anything, though.

The problem is that I did not find any of ubisofts games interesting. I'm trying to think back on why, but even with all the insane overcoverage it's getting none of the games stuck in my head except for zombie u and the 3ds rabbids game, both of which are only remembered due to how idiotic they looked. I was rather disappointed with E3 this year, too many kill 'em all type games and not enough (if any) games of substance

I know what you're saying, but credit should be given to Ubisoft for doing what press conferences should have done. They didn't rehash every single thing that we already knew about.

Watch Dogs, in particular, was a game I never knew about until E3; it had a great concept and it was a gameplay trailer, something we don't see immediately most of the time. Games like Rayman Legends, Far Cry 3 and Assassins Creed 3 were also well-received.

I enjoyed Ubisoft's press conference the most. All except for Tobuscus, saying that he was born with an Xbox in his mom's womb. -_-

The Last of Us.

But if we're talking about things from SE, not much, pretty lackluster being the 25th anniversary of FF and the 10th of KH.

No Type-0 localization announcement, no Versus XIII shown, pulled the XIV 2.0 trailer, mainly things from Eidos, 3DS games we already knew about, and iOS games.

And where's the 3DS remakes of FFV and FFVI?

If I had to pick one, probably Theatrhythm.

There's always TGS, but then again given Type-0 those may not even release here.

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] hands down for me. From the Square Enix booth, my other favorites were Demon's Score, Quantum Conundrum and Theatrhythm. Quantum Conundrum especially, which I honestly didn't expect to like so much. I had played a very bare minimum of Portal since I actually don't have any of the consoles for it nor am I much of a PC gamer, but it really rekindled my love of puzzles. Demon's Score was great; really fast paced, terrible dialogue but great music. And Theatrhythm was definitely a. d. d. i. c. t. i. n. g. What a walk down memory lane~

When I was there I did enjoy Hitman a lot. I also enjoyed playing Kingdom Hearts 3D and Assassins Creed 3. If I had to pick one I would say..... Hitman Absolution. Way to much fun to kill people in that game.

I also share the frustration in the lack of Versus XIII and Type-0 not being at E3. Versus XIII would have gotten Game of Show if it was there, no doubt.

Watch Dogs looked the best to me. As for Square Enix, it's tough to pick. I guess Tomb Raider looked okay but I'm not interested in that type of game. Very disappointing Japanese lineup. No FF X HD, Versus XIII, Type-0, or XIV 2.0. I'm starting to grow out of most forms of handheld gaming. I don't feel like shelling out for a 3DS is a feasible investment for only the couple of games I would play for it. KH 3D looked fine but I don't care since I'm not planning on buying its game system.

Otherwise, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. I've seen a lot on it already, but 2013 can't come soon enough.
