PS2 Heaven!!

Hey guys I just thought I would share with you my joy!! I have just taken delivery of my new......toy. A PLAYSTATION 2!!!! Admittedly it is not as an important announcement as infinite sadness’ announcement that she had just taken delivery of a new baby, but for me it’s kinda the same!!! Anyway roll on November, Lara I’m now ready for you!!!!!

(Sorry but I had to tell someone, it gets lonely in here…..)

You must be so proud Prelude! I remember when my first PSX arrived. Soon, it was asking for a friend to play with, but at first I didn't know if I was ready for the added responsibility. Eventually, I couldn't stand the whining anymore and I broke down and welcomed the PS2. Now I have two beautiful consoles! Sometimes I have to play the PSX just so it doens't feel that I am playing favorites with the "baby" in the family.:D Anyhow, I just wanted to express my happiness for you. Love and cherish the beautiful gift you've been given/bought.:p

http://www.westwoodi.net/~smilies/otn/realhappy/xxrotflmao.gif ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Its good to know that there are some people out there that are as mental as me!!!!

Unfortunately I couldn’t stand the constant bickering between them so one of them had to go, and lets face it, the PS2 (the baby) was staying, so I put my PS1 or X as you say, up for e-bay adoption, he goes next week. One less mouth to feed!!!!

Why do the "older" babies always feel threatened when the new, cuter, sleeker, technologically enhanced "babies" come along???? I don't get it I will always love my PSone even though it is now dated and cumbersome!!! If I had to go to e-bay adoption it would be with my Dreamcast which is a very noisy "baby" indeed!!!

(I too am glad I now have somewhere to come where my insanity is not solitary - heeheehee)

Hey, I just said in another thread that I hadn't seen anything about AOD being released for anything but the PC. Has that changed?

I came very close to buying a PS2 tonight, but the only game I saw there that I recognized was "Final Fantasy," which I've haven't seen played, so I don't know if I'd like it.

I hope AOD is available for the PS2, because if it won't run under Windows 98, the PS2 is the only way I'll play it.

You bet it’s out on PS2, geez I didn’t just go through 9 months of hard labour for nothing you know

PSone has finally found a new family on e-bay adoption, I hope he will be happy :(

Well, we have it. Last time we went shopping my wife refused to leave the store without it.

So it's hooked up but--I hate to sound jaded--nobody has actually figured out how to play it yet. I got "Project Eden" and walked the characters around a bit, but making anything happen is still pretty much trial and error. My wife got something I've never heard of called "Crazy Taxi." They didn't have any TR games at Wal-Mart. It would have been nice to start with something familiar.

Apparently it plays CD's and DVD's, too.

Well, the latest and greatest system requirements are posted here:
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=135
It doesn't mention the PS2, but I take it the thread is about just the PC version. It looks like I'm covered either way. :D
