View Full Version : Okay - any idea why the pages on this forum don't auto-refresh for me any more?

I liked that a lot, and now they won't. I haven't made any changes to my UserCP either, or to IExplore settings, although (see my other post) taking Yaha off my computer may have reset some things, or just changed them to be mean and hateful. Who knows...

Argh! I have HAD it with Windows, I am going to write Bill Gates a SCATHING note, this makes NO SENSE!!

On a hunch (I have dealt with Windows before), I went Control Panel>>System>>Performance>>File System>>Troubleshooting and re-enabled System Restore, which I disabled before stomping out the life of the above-mentioned virus, as per Symantec's instructions.

Stupid, but it works.

It could be your cache options. In IE, check Tools / Internet Options / General / Temporaty Internet Files / Settings. I have that one on "Automatically" and it does not always refresh. You could set that to "Every visit to the page." That might work better.
