Basically something I think a lot of people noticed,
at a lot of moments in the game, especially when a npc asks you to follow them, or guide them,
47 will always walk to fast.
Ether the person following you can't keep up even when running,
or the person you are following is so slow you need to stop walking every 3 steps.

It would be nice if the game gets a extra button prompt to make 47 switch between 2 walking speeds.
His current "need to look normal but still hurry" walk,
and a slower "need to walk at the speed of the rest so I don't look suspicious" type of walk.

making it easier to guide, follow or tail targets and other npc's.

As long as we're adding movement speeds, how about a Sprint that's faster than 47's current Jog?

Just wondering why that would be needed tough.
what would be the benefit to that? (considering it would be hugely suspicious to any guards)

If you play with a controller 47 has two modes. If you push the stick slightly he walks slow, if you push it more he walks fast.

Yes, and the slow walk is still too fast for keeping up with NPC's that you're following.

well first off, I'm a pc player, and I don't use a controller as I find a keyboard and mouse a lot easier and comfortable then a controller.

Over 60 buttons and still no button to switch between a slow and fast walk-pace.
Would be really handy if that would be added as walk-stop-walk-stop while escorting and following npc's is starting to drive me crazy.

also I can't verify this due to not having a controller, so I take Tallantis's word on it that 47's "slow walk" is still too fast compared to the npc's walk speed

there should be 2 walk speeds:

1 the normal 47's "need to walk to look like a normal person, but still walk fast so people don't get the chance to look at me to long" kinda walk

2 a walk speed at the EXACT SAME speed as the NPC's walking speed, not a little faster, not a little slower, but exactly the same.

I also play Hitman on PC but m/k sucks here that's why I use the 360 pad.

The slow walk has nearly the same speed like the npcs. So it works fine for me, I followed so many npcs with my 75h playtime, I should know if the walking speed is ****ty. Hitman is programmed for console pads. You couldn't play with m/k in the alpha.

For m/k it's a fine idea but I doubt they will include the feature cause these reasons.

Ether way a button for the keyboard would be nice to switch between those walk speeds.
I really hate to see how all the series I know that started purely on pc have been forgetting there roots and been giving a lot more attention to detail to the consoles.

Not that I don't wish console player's equal amount of fun, but it would be nice that in the process of polishing the console versions, they don't forget simple things like this for pc, if you give the console version a slower walk, give it to the pc version too, even if a keyboard and mouse are being used.

Escorting and following pretty much just takes me completely out of the game's experience right now due to the constant walk stop routine, especially so sinds it looks wacky yet no NPC thinks its suspicious.

I mean the bloody thing has over 50 key's, can't be that hard to find room for a walk toggle button, lol.
