With Dragon Quest XI in simultaneous development on a multitude of platforms,
specifically the Sony PlayStation 4, the Nintendo 3DS and NIntendo Switch.
now would be the time for the fans to explore the likelihood of it's release outside of Japan.
with the 3DS having been superseded in the west by the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo NX release still in the distant future.
it would be more logical for a Playstation 4 release in the United States and European Union.
with Sony having sold around forty million units of the Playstation 4 worldwide.
it would be a waste of resources and the SquareEnix fan base to not sell to western audiences.
with the sales numbers revealed it is a matter of prudent fact not opinion,
that shows that if Mr. Horii and his team can reach ten percent of the customer base.
SquareEnix will successfully market more than four million copies world wide.
i ask the Dragon Quest family to boldly stand and be recognized.

the joy of being speculative is one of the many qualities imparted upon us,
as we experience the ebb and flow of emotion that is a role playing title,
we are taught critical thinking and cumulative review.
with the hype and excitement that envelope the oldest and most respected franchises,
we as long time fans can draw from experience as to what we believe is a pathway or concept.
at this junction what i conceive the journey that, Dragon Quest XI : In Search of The Departed Time is going to present us with.
with it being the thirty year anniversary of Dragon Quest,
i was long vexed as to what joys and heart falls the story tellers will give us,
i have come to a conclusion, and i am sure you will agree.
with recent copyrights, with presented levels of scale, with artwork being shown.
it has revealed that something wonderful has happened.
We are receiving a full remake of the original Dragon Quest!

Imagine the concept of the original Dragon Quest utilized as a direct remake, sequel, or prequel.
the type of depth that they could only dream of with the restrictions of 8mb.
expect a new mythos to be constructed with smaller party sizes,
a maximum party size of two or three when playable support type characters temporarily join the team to assist the Hero.

contained in my initial post regarding Dragon Quest XI: In Search Of The Departed Time.
there was an image of Dragon Lord he has since mysteriously vanished, and reappeared unassisted,
his whereabouts were unknown.
initially placed using this linked article in which japanese fans voted for their favorite final boss characters,
it has since been removed.

here is the crunchy roll poll
(http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/10/29/japanese-fans-pick-their-top-10-fascinating-final-boss-characters)here is the updated link showing the cited photo and article, in Thai, Keftka, Zoma, and Sephiroth are still present! (http://akibatan.com/2015/11/japanese-fans-vote-top-fascinating-final-boss-characters/)
photographic evidence is here for my gloating enjoyment!

more than sufficient i would hope,
as i have further burden of proof that the lower image was taken after the upper,
should any members of the press care to fact check this.

in the previously mentioned post is also the current tantalization,
that the likeness, image, and name were also recently copyrighted simultaneously,
in Asia, North America, and the European Union.
this timed with his disappearance leads to less outlandish speculation that my theory is correct.
will we indeed treat with the lineage of Dragon Lord if not the fiend himself,
at this time it is yet unknown if we shall meet with the Despot, his mother, father, son, grandson, daughter or granddaughter.
my conception of this conundrum is facilitated by a simple fact,
never turn down gratis advertisement, that is unless you are attempting to protect the plot from the salivating horde of fans.
the theory may have been confirmed, (http://en.rocketnews24.com/2015/08/01/dragon-quest-xis-main-protagonists-outfit-may-reveal-a-spoilery-secret-origin/) and separately here is the plot. (http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/07/30/rumor-is-the-hero-of-dragon-quest-xi-the-villain-of-the-original-game)
the concept may be a skeptical and possibly even cynical one,
and yet these findings have begun to appear and multiply.
the general hypothesis is that the concept will be How The Dragon Lord Obtains The Ball Of Light.
so with my apologies for the multiple devices,
that i had to utilize for the photo and screen capture to digitally imprint these findings,
and now with your opportunity for rebuttal,
what do you the Dragon Quest fans believe,
will be contained in the next anticipated installment and it's epic narrative?

personally i feel that SE should release it on all platforms outside of Japan, they have been really stupid about releasing some of their games on multiple platforms in non japan regions: dq heroes is on both ps3 and ps4, but they only gave us the ps4 edition, i am setsuna is on ps4 and vita, but they only gave us the digital version of the game on ps4, nothing for vita, and digital for pc. dq builders is being released on ps4 and vita, but the vita version is only getting a digital release, if you ask me this is utterly ridiculous, if a game has multiplatform release it needs to be released every single way in other regions when they release the game. not just shaft us out of a physical version.

the upcoming persona 5 has ps3 and ps4 editions of the game and i am sure that eventually it will get released on the vita as all the other persona games up til now have been on the psp/vita. and atlus is releasing the ps3 version of persona 5 over here when it comes out in feb 2017.

i am setsuna should have a physical and digital release, not just one or the other. dq builders should also have a digital and physical release on the vita, why does the ps4 version get both and not the vita? i feel the nx, 3ds and ps4 versions of dq11 should be released outside of japan in digital and physical format.

Hello bolty,
apologies for my belated reply.
i have had an open discussion with my colleagues,
we have agreed that all formats are ideal, however that process is not always cost effective.
noting sales numbers in Asia, North America, and the European union,
the premise of offering a physical copy on a video game system that does not have the player base is folly.
the PS Vita and the Playstation 3 have a massive player base in Asia while Playstaion 4 sales have been slow,
a majority of the 40 million Playstaion 4 that are in service are in North America and the European Union.
PS Vita and Playstation 3 are primarily dormant and the next generation of consoles are common.
Mobile gaming is leading in japan while consoles dominate elsewhere,
for a company such as Atlus, Konami, or SquareEnix to blindly distribute versions of their titles is poor business.
Atlus has an excellent import business that has been greatly accommodated by titles such as Disgaea.
i deeply believe that SquareEnix will release Dragon Quest XI In Search of Departed Time
in every format in regions where it will be salable.

with the reveal of the Nintendo Switch i feel that i should use this opportunity to enlighten individuals to my opinion.
SquareEnix should understand that Nintendo is indeed the minority in western gaming.
most people who are active in gaming in the NA/EU region own a Playstation 4 a total of forty million units worldwide,
where the Nintendo console concept has a player base of ZERO.
with the Nintendo Switch the target audience will be limited to primarily children,
with young adults as the remainder of the demographic.
please be reminded that the target audience for Dragon Quest
and the subsidiaries of the franchise are squarely rooted with adults.
Dragon Quest has been a wish and want rather than a reality for western gaming fans.
it is my duty to inform the company that the video game entertainment business for a software developer,
is to sell your games to as large a demographic as possible not to sell new consoles.

Traditionally the best market for these were the Nintendo Crowd and with the cart devices. Vita would even be a better Idea than PS4. 7 and 8 only ended up on a PS system because of a change in removable media decisions. Same could be said for FF. But that's it in a nut shell, made for an optical and stayed for an optical...until now. If on a PS4 it likely be smartest as a DL only unless PS4 designed a cart system. Not that I think the Switch looks promising besides it's only positive attribute so far, a game card as removable hard copies. They aren't sure of it either, it's why they haven't bailed on the 3ds and Wii U completely. A fall back game.

Nonsense, you see the video it's for upper class/upper middle class yuppies with trust funds. Like the PS4.
The PS4 also has no ease of movement from one place to another. I think their mind is more on the mobile console design. If Sony
bothered to treat their Vita with any proper respect it might have a chance there.

DQ and FF started with the same target, the NES era people, they have kids. Old hand Nintendo people. I would agree the Switch is a joke
so far, and looks like the second system by Nintendo I won't touch (38). The other was the N64, where only Wave Race really impressed me.
I think of Nintendo when I think of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, although very traditional in how I see FF and DQ (especially FF and a 4 Fiend rule).
If you ever saw Social Media, most of Square people are interested on a Nostalgia Level.

Polyon article showing PlayStation 4 sales exceed forty million (http://http://www.polygon.com/2016/5/26/11783776/sony-playstation-40-million-units)

Sales of the PS4 are slow in Japan, Square Enix announced support for the Switch and 3DS.
Dragon Quest is no longer a Nintendo exclusive during that era Square Enix lost opportunity, take that with a grain of salt.
Only the last two titles Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Builders were not a Nintendo exclusive.
As an entertainment company you do not ignore fifty million units sold either,
you will most likely see a PS4, 3DS release in the west.
After all sharing is caring as they intend to make the series a household name (http://www.idigitaltimes.com/more-dragon-quest-games-coming-west-producer-confirms-square-enixs-commitment-564602).

based on that graph you would think that they would maximize sales by putting it on ps4, 3ds and pc but nope, they opted for the biggest demographic, pc and ps4. which makes you wonder why bother putting dq7 and 8 on the 3ds over here in the first place.
