Hello there goodmorninamerica

There's no need to apologize for your English. As long as I can understand what you're trying to communicate, we're can work with that. I think I understand what you're trying to say, so let's work with that.

It sounds like the reason you have 2000 gold is that you've been using the rest of the gold that you've earned to unlock and upgrade your gear. That's great, that's precisely what gold is supposed to be used for.

As for your desire to destroy gear for gold. Nosgoth's economy has been balanced to try and be as fair as possible while ensuring that the game can continue to be developed in a sustainable manner. If we were to introduce a new source of gold (gear destruction), we would need to reduce the amount of gold you earn elsewhere (during matches for example). That pretty much gets us back to square 1.

So, things are going to stay as they are with regards to income for the time being.

How about adding something else to exchange gear for instead. What about certain skins or weapons that can only be obtained by exchanging large amounts of spare items. Especially boosters, since I have lots of expended ones that are no use anymore.

Nice try, but this would make items another currency...

I think the best we can suggest is to be able tobreak down all items in forge...I'd like to break down boosters into Quick-silver, for example.

Why would that be bad? It's better than exchanging one abundant item for another, and it allows players to obtain something rare for all the time it took to accumulate all those items. There need to be rewards for sticking around all this time, right? And it's not like what I suggested would preclude scrapping the items for forge materials as well.

Not being able to unlock things from day one is only a problem when the items give you an advantage, whereas I was only referring to cosmetics. I mean, I already maxed out all my classes and overall player level and since I'm not really concerned with reaching the top of a leaderboard or anything like that, the only thing left for me to do is unlock stuff and look at the artwork and read the lore etc. Even though that puts me outside of the target audience, I'm sure I'm not the only one and I don't think excluding anyone is the right way to go.

The could always treat expired boosters as the forge material needed for upgrading to mysterious or rerolling the visual effect.

EDIT: You and the OP were saying you were short on forge materials, but part of the discussion was about giving purpose to unused items right? My point seemed relevent if that was the case, but I apologise if it wasn't.

I have 1,8k hours in this game and always run a 100% goldbooster but still never enough gold. Forging is just extremely expensive. My deceiver build took me around 100k gold then i ruined my disguise because i leveled the fx on it by mistake and needed to make a new one. Was lucky and took me only 20k then. But for someone who wasn't around when mysterious booster was still useful and gave like 30 MI per month he can't even afford forging because you will never have enough shards/gold. Someone without goldbooster might be able to recharge his items but thats it pretty much.

100% agree. Recharge eats half gold. Forging feels like visiting casino.

Well, they have no problem with casinos...

Expired boosters/vouchers ought to be able to be broken down for forge materials or gold.

I mentioned it somwhere else- why Choking Haze has cool down ability that eats 2% of speed???(i mean i don`t remember wht are drawbacks- it`s only example). If i`m upgrading crossbow i`m upgrading it`s stats not my fall damage...

I definitely agree to this. The forge is too expensive on the gold. I always run out of gold. I just wasted over 10k yesterday trying to forge 1 ability to my needs. Without success.
Quite a frustration potential here, considering how long it takes to gain that amount of gold again. :)

Also why not remove the locked stat and leave both stats reforgeable?
