I came accross this little number. What do you think?

If you manage to match the action with the lyrics...I'll eat my fire arrows. :D

Well the song has finished now and I'm trying to decide if I like it or not. It's different...Nice guitar melody.

If you are looking for some thiefy music try film soundtracks, the slow quiet numbers like love themes ect...Have lots of little string loops you can sample and cut up. ;)

I just offered it up because it is soooo, strange. I won't use it. But that girl has problems.

If you want to hear something equally bizarre try this (http://bluntedtaffer.50megs.com/MrScruff.MP3) little ditty. :)

And before anyone says whales are mammals and not fish, just think Whale Shark. ;)

I like it Chief!:D

Do you have any idea who composed that piece? The vocal style reminds me of Switchblade Symphony, though I doubt it's by them.

The lyrics are different, to say the least. Perhaps it could serve as an alternative to the traditional Trail of Blood soundtrack? Add a scripted apebeast who falls out of a tree clutching a plumsie and it might work.:D

I'm downloading Gum Drop's now...

I dont get it. I have IE 6 and whenever I try to download an MP3 file I get the "this Page cant be desplayed message"

While we're on the subject of MP3's, if anyone wants the full version of the music I used in "Run thief...RUN!" you can grab it here (http://www.jazzmess.com/merch/cds/ost1/baddognobiscuit.html). :)

There is some great music to be had here. My favorites are Egg and I, Mushroom Samba, Space Lion, and an appropriate Thief number Don't Bother None.

Edit: Are you right clicking Chief?

So gum Drop, you're a Cowboy Beebop fan, eh? I must admit that the series has great music (It's good anime too).

By the way, I asked you on the old forum if the title for that little FM was inspired by the film <i>Run Lola, Run!</i> but never received an answer. Was it? I'm just curious.

Munin: I did answer your question, and actually said I hadn't seen the film. But I was thinking about it again the other day and realised it was on my "must see" list as I hear it's a cracker. Funny thing is though, I do have the soundtrack. :)

The FM title was inspired by a Man From U.N.K.L.E. music piece called "Run spy run", when I heard the Beebop music I thaught of Thrush.

Haha...See you in Dayport cowboy.... ;)

I like your tune, for its mood that is, but you can lose the lyrics.:)

Where did you get that "whale fish" number? I'd like to see the web site, assuming it is equally zany. Hey - a whale is not a fish.;) Are you sure they are talking about a whale shark (http://www.panda.org/resources/publications/species/underthreat/page28.htm)? I don't think they are seen anywhere around the UK.

Cowboy Beebop. Hmm. Never heard of it until now. I must be playing too much Thief or traveling in the wrong circles. Probably both. Must check it out.

That's awesome! Does she have an actual webpage? The main link (cutting out the mp3 filename) just takes me to a pic with no link.

Time to shamelessly advertise my own music! www.mp3.com/aterdraconis

And hmm, this makes me think... maybe I should do an album... "Songs Inspired by Thief" ^_~
