Actually humbug or more appropriately Bah Humbug is a reference to Mr. Scrooge from Charles ****ens, A Christmas Carol.
Mr. Scrooge would say Bah Humbug to represent scorn for something.

You'll be visited by two spirits and a teddy bear tonight. The third spirit is off sick so we had to call in a relief and a teddy bear is the best we could find.

I really hope that is a clever joke on willow's part, and not that this forum automatically starred out half of Charles ****ens' name... guess I'll find out.

OH FOR THE LOVE OF HEAVEN!!!

That's absolutely FRIKKIN' RIDICULOUS!

Someone has got to do something about this... If I can thik of any more such words, I think I'll post them...

Hmmm, only five away...

Here's one, still not as good as our poor author, but I'm still thinking:

Whorehound candy

Yes, this is real. Ask a grandparent or something. :D

A couple lame-o's, I expect they'll pass muster...

farthing
bass
the Scarlet Pimpernel

I'll have to sleep on it, and see if I can think up some really good ones... browse through my overly verbose National Review and see what I can pump out of old Wm. F. Buckley...

a fruity sponge pudding which was presumably the back-bone of the British Empire (Apart from fish 'n' chips, beer and tea)

I realize that its a culture thing... but..... that sounds... really nasty...... that's three things I don't like all at once... spongeness..... iw..... pudding...... iw...... and fruity things (I love fruit... just not a whole lot of fruity cakes etc)........ iw........

add that together for one wicked spongey death for the willow...

How can you not like pudding, Willow? =F

The old forums would censor Michael Moorc-ock's name if I took out the dash that's not supposed to be there. It's kind of extreme, but I'm sure they'd have a lot of problems otherwise. *cough* Minter *cough*.

Damn that Yeepo.... he eats EVERYTHING!.... I'll have to make him pay for it tomorrow......... (when I see him....... in real life that is).

And blinc, pudding is vile and evil....... I place it in my 'other' category...... I like liquids... and I like solids... but by no means do I like the in-between or gelatinous category.... iw..... if it jiggles....... I don't want to put it in my mouth (and please...... no sexual jokes..... that's a whole other ballpark)..............

jello- hmmm seems almost like a solid... that I can suck between my teeth!
pudding- hmm feels like I'm eating slime... oooooo yummy... iw.
