Hello there,

currently the level-up system leaves a lot to be desired. For class levels there's a new random ability reward for every 5 levels and at level 25 a prestige skin is unlocked. For account levels every 5 levels a class unlock token is awarded. However between these 5 levels there is a huge gap and there just isn't enough motivation to power through the experience bar when a number such as 13 or 21 is next to it. So my suggestion is to add a reward for every achieved level that is not 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40.

These rewards can be used to enhance the already established store and also give people a taste of what the store provides. They can also make for trading items later on or be incorporated into the crafting system when it comes. Here an example of a lootdrop system that would make leveling up more exciting, every level, guaranteed:


Account level-ups reward a crate-like item that upon usage drops an item of the following list:
Top Rewards:
00.50% - A random mysterious item for any class available to the player
01.50% - A gold war chest
02.50% - Treasure of Sarafan Gold: Upon using this item, the player receives 1000 gold.
02.50% - Ancient Scroll of Sarafan Teachings: Select a class. You receive 15% of the XP required for the next level up with the class you picked.
03.00% - Ancient Sarafan Relic: A booster that lasts for 2 hours (max. 6 matches) and increases the XP and gold earned for all players by 100%.

Rare Rewards:
05.00% - Historic Bag of Vampire Gold: Upon using this item, the player receives 500 gold.
05.00% - Historic Book of Vampire Teachings: Select a class. You receive 10% of the XP required for the next level up with the class you picked.
10.00% - A silver war chest
10.00% - Historic Vampire Relic: A booster that lasts for 1 hour (max. 3 matches) and increases the XP and gold earned for all players by 50%.

Common Rewards:
20.00% - Ordinary Scroll of Human Teachings - Select a class. You receive 5% of the XP required for the next level up with the class you picked.
20.00% - Ordinary bag of gold: Upon using this item, the player receives 250 gold.
20.00% - Ordinary Human Relic: A booster that lasts for 1 hour (max. 3 matches) and increases the XP and gold earned for all players by 25%.


Class level-ups reward a crate-like item that upon usage drops an item of the following list:
Top Rewards:
01.00% - A random mysterious item for the class the level-up was achieved with.
02.50% - A rare item for the class the level up was achieved with
06.50% - Old Scroll with Kain's Orders / Medaillon of Moebius: A booster that increases the XP and gold received with Vampires / Humans only for 2 hours (max. 6 matches) by 100%.

Common Rewards:
15.00% - Dumas Instructions about the Hunt / The Ironguards manual on how to damage vampires: For every 500 points of damage dealt as vampire / human, the class this item was used on receives 30 XP. Lasts 1 hour (max. 3 matches).

15.00% - Turels Orders / The Watchers guide to survival: For every human / vampire killed, the class this item was on receives 30 XP. Lasts 1 hour (max. 3 matches).

15.00% - Eskandors Teachings about Flight / Teachings of the Church to Avernus: For every 150 points of damage dealt through fall damage / 350 points of healing, the class this item was used on receives 30 XP. Lasts 1 hour (max. 3 matches).

15.00% - Zephonims Teachings about Deception / Scroll with Anacrothe's last words: For every 200 points of damage dealt with poison, disease or fire damage by vampires / humans, the class this item was used on receives 30 XP. Lasts 1 hour (max. 3 matches).

15.00% - Melchiahs Guide to Necromancy / The Ironguards Guide to Big Game Hunting: For every 250 points of damage dealt by your summoned creatures / 200 points of damage dealt to targets beyond 25 meters of distance, the class this item was used on receives 30 XP. Lasts 1 hour (max. 3 matches).

15.00% - Rahabims Teachings about Evolution / Scroll with Moebius Propaganda about Human Superiority: For every match you finish as vampire / human, in which your damage divided by 1000 is higher than your deathcount, the class this item was used on receives 600 XP.


The idea of the scrolls is to allow receiving experience for classes a player doesn't like to play. They're tied to a task. An example: Receiving "Dumas Instructions about the Hunt" as Tyrant and using that item, then playing the game as Reaver and dealing 10500 damage would lead to the Tyrant also getting 630 XP.

Even without these type of items, I feel this lootdrop system in general would make for a great addition and give players that motivation to keep on playing for every level, not just every 5th level.
