With the up and coming launch of private lobbies and ESL coming forward with an interest in the game, teams are going to be forming soon and a couple of days ago it was confirmed that I would captain the Rize team. I myself am based in Ireland but would love to get more people into the team. I've been playing with some people who currently aren't sure if they want to play a game like this in an ESL circuit but I for one would love to.

Rize are a gaming organisation that was set up by Sixsix_one. We currently have teams in

DotA 2
League of Legends
Call of Duty
Cs:GO
FIFA 15
Hearthstone
Destiny

and this list is expanding all of the time into games like Destiny and SMITE. The organisation is currently sponsored by Klipsch, GamersApparel, NoScope gaming glasses and this will continue to grow as the teams progress in more tournaments.

As players, we would mainly be playing in online tournaments and events but occasionally may be visiting events where stages will be set up to compete. I am looking for people in UK/IRL because we would all speak the same language and also be in the same time zone, arranging practice sessions or team stream nights wouldn't be as difficult as if we were based across the world, also, we would play with almost the same distance from the data centre that hosts the servers and have minimal ping.
If this is something you're interested in, please fill out below and leave a comment. Let me begin

Steam name: Rize Mythos
Age: 19
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Preferred Classes: Sentinel/Hunter
Availability: Available after 6 PM every day aside from Saturday, it's after 7 PM
Chat availability: Skype, Steam chat, Teamspeak, Curse Voice
Why I want to play: Nosgoth has been the first game I've been really competitive on. I want to take this and turn it into a path to success. I wouldn't class myself as world's best but I would call myself a good player who can carry a team when they're Vampires or Humans

Don't think this will be the next CS:GO either but don't you think it is ridiculous to say the game "had a chance" and didn't make it before it is out of closed beta? The size of the player base at this point is quite meaningless

It is too early to tell whether the game will succeed but @FailTree, you've failed to do your homework. ESL are very interested in picking this game up as an eSport. I think you're also missing the fact that Nosgoth is still a VERY new game and compared to how easy it was to get a DotA 2 beta key, it's still pretty difficult to get a Nosgoth one. DotA even had a keygen on Steam or you could pay into the game too. Let's see how Nosgoth fairs out. A first season has been confirmed but all we need are teams. When we had the free weekend that crashed everything we peaked at 8,000 players, a pretty big number for such a small game that is just starting out. You're very quick to judge and assume.

Good luck with your team Rize! It will be interesting to see if this pans out in to a popular e-sport.

Thank you! So far there are actually quite a few teams emerging! You can look on http://www.esl.eu/eu/nosgoth/members/ and see the most recently added teams, sadly, I haven't found a way to see all.

Good luck to you and hope you get a good lot of players. I'd maybe consider it but looking at the games you play I know we have nothing in common but Nosgoth.

The only game I'm playing is Nosgoth. We have teams already set up for those games with players dedicated to each game. I don't think anyone plays more than one. I'm currently the captain of the Nosgoth team. With this information, let me know if you've changed your mind :)

Will add you later to play some games if the party system decides to work. Again, have been pretty ill lately but I'll get some practice in before getting the team together. The ESL team page is http://www.esl.eu/eu/nosgoth/team/8681104/

Steam Name: Radke
Age: 24
Location: Scotland
Preferred class Vamp/Hum: Reaver or Deceiver / Hunter or Prophet
Availability: Weekdays and weekends during the evening (18:00+). Sometimes have commitments or social stuff, but not consistently.
Chat availability: Skype, Team speak 3, Raid Call, Mumble, Steam chat, Ventrilo.
Why you want to play: Used to play the old Legacy of Kain games, and loved them back then. Got into Nosgoth through watching a video by Frankieonpcin1080p and thought I'd give it a try. Turns out it's probably one of my favourite games on steam. I believe it has a huge amount of potential and hope it progresses with the same quality and vibe it started with. I want to play with like minded people who enjoy Nosgoth, are tactical and play as a team (not as individuals who maintain their win or KD ratios).
Additional comments: Willing to switch up classes, equipment, perks, etc... to suit team builds or strategies. Thanks again for reading my application.

Steam Name: Starl19ht
Age: 18
Location: England

Preferred class Vamp/Hum: Tyrant or Reaver/ Alchemist or Prophet

Availability: Weekdays from 16:30 GMT onwards. Weekends; all day

Chat availability: TeamSpeak 3, Steam Chat, Skype, Curse Voice

Why do you want to play: Having played many games competitively in the past (Most notably Dota, Team Fortress 2 and Smite) I feel I would like the opportunity to explore more games and maybe one day be on a top tier team. I found Nosgoth in early closed beta and have been hooked ever since. I feel like it has great potential as an eSport and I would dearly love the opportunity to be involved in it.

Additional Comments: I can play all classes to a high level. I have been the main shotcaller on many of the competetive teams I have been on. I pride myself on maintaining a high level of understanding with games the games I play and keep up to date as best I can. I am dedicated and willing to practice as much as I can to make it at a top teir level

Location: south east England
preferred class Vamp/hum: Tyrant or Deceiver / Hunter or Prophet
Availability: Every weekday from 6pm to 9 or 10pm. Weekends all day long
Chat availability: Skype, team speak, Mumble, steam chat
Why I want to play: I found out about nosgoth through a friend that gave me a beta code and have enjoyed the game ever since. I Have played Smite competitive in many teams but now moved on to nosgoth because I seam to prefer shooter games more then MOBAs.
Additional comments: I can play different classes depending on what is needed. I am younger then most of the players this meaning I have a bit more time to play instead of worrying too much on jobs. Thank you for reading

I'd be interested in a team at some point, I like the game enough and there's those moments where a clever ploy could've been had and executed but was impossible because well... it's hard to co-ordinate in some PuGs - not all, I've been in a number of great ones. :) I also have a lot of time to drop into such a venture; it's never been an issue for me really, since games are that important to me heh.

However, I am not sure if I can jump the gun just yet until the game is fully released. I will stay tuned however to see how it all develops.

I prefer to play alchemist on the human side mainly, but also dabble in hunter and to a less extent the prophet; the only class I will not play due to style conflicts is the scout - or maybe I should just give him more of a chance. Vampire side I play sentinel and deceiver exclusively (sentinel mostly), but now with a break from the game I'm going to give tyrant a good go around again. I will not play reaver, there's enough of those around already and I'm continually haunted by all-reaver teams (sans myself) that always seem to end with a definite loss. :/ The summoner Vain also interests me a lot; it's more than likely I will drop tyrant to up her game instead when she's released; she's got the makings to be rather tactical I think, and I do tricky better than outright power.

The above's not needed, I know, since I'm not joining yet, but it's just a l'il precursor. :) I see myself as a person that naturally fits the mould of whatever game I touch upon with little effort; it's just finding the right people to work with that's the greater challenge, since one can never bring out their full potential without them. Hence why I'll be watching this space with avid interest. Cheers. Oh, and I'm based in Scotland so no time conflicts here.

Location: England
Preferred class: Healing alchemist with blind when in a team/ Reaver With Kick shadow step or savage pounce
Availability : weekdays 4:30 - 9 Saturday day time not Sundays

Why I want to play: Love the game it's awsome fast paced fun and team play orientated I prefer playing in teams with voice comms as i believe it's more fun to play this way.
Other info: I can play other classes and I play alchemist aggressive full bore flame wall light bomb but playing for the team Is what I do best I have time on my hands to spend and really look forward to seeing nosgoth be a competitive game.
