I am advocating to have the Stormbow returned to the way it was, dealing 3/4 of the damage with the explosion instead of the 1/2 & 1/2 it is now, or offer this variation in an alternative bow. The fun factor it had was just so good and satisfying, now it is probably the least used bow in the game. You could do such more than just directly shoot your opponent with it like you already can with the other bows. This was the best bow to use against clustered vampire blitz assaults.

*You could take out an evasive reaver by lacing his escape route with these once capable explosive shot.
*You could kill a wounded vampire that hiding behind a corner by hitting the ground next to where they are standing or, even better, tagging a vamps teammate as they move towards them.
*Imagine the joy of tagging a charging tyrant, pouncing reaver, or swooping sentinel as they come at; but only being hit by their blood spatter because they exploded feet from reaching you. You can still kinda do that but not as often.
*Remember the hilarity of tagging someone and they have just enough time to go "Oh ****", could happen so much more often.

Please, I really would enjoy seeing those once grand firework shows in a match once more.

Remember the days of getting tagged as reaver then using shadow step and having the explosion happen in the middle of the shadow step so you take almost no damage from the charged bow and laughing at the scout? ah good times.

Works well enough still anyway.

Disagree, humans have too much aoe as is. The storm bow damage shift absolutely needed to happen, if anything the amount of aoe on both sides could stand to be reduced.
