View Full Version : Update on Second Screen for PC?

Some official devs here in the forums had stated that Intel was working on coming up with an app called Perceptual Screen Control, and it even had its own website (intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/perceptual-screen-control.html) for the purpose of having the Second Screen tech on the Steam version of the game as well.

And here's the thing; it HAD a website, now it is gone and trying to access will only take you to a 404 error page.

And since that last statement from Eidos, back at late Novemeber, there isn't been any other word from them regarding the Second Screen capability.

Not that it is a game-breaking lack (and not a priority, considering the amount of bugs and issues with the Director's Cut), but what worries me is the lack of interactions on Eidos' side with the fanbase since the patch in Nov 18th.

In case it is not possible to deliver the SS app for PC, would be nice if it was stated officially so.

Sorry, was meant to be put in the General Discussion forum instead. It isn't a technical problem itself.

EM is waiting for Intel to release its PSC software before enabling second-screen functionality on the PC version of DX:HR:DC. Basically, they built the PC's version of the feature on top of Intel's software, and until that software is released into the wild, it simply won't work. It's all waiting on Intel at this point.

Oh, ok, thanks a lot for the answer. I was left cold because of Intel's removal of the webpage for such software.
