On the blog post today Mr. Anfossi says that the 2nd screen experience for DX:HR DC will be available on "SmartGlass, the PSVita and the Wii U GamePad."

I think these three systems are all exclusive to their respective consoles, so will PC users have any way to access the 2nd screen features? An iOS/Android app maybe? Please?

If PC's must use a 2nd screen, they better make it work on an android cellphone or something. Because not EVERYBODY can or will own a tablet or an apple gizmo to complete that Deus EXperience.

But by the same token, not EVERYBODY has an android device. Personally, I have an iPad but no android devices so I'd prefer an iOS version. And some people have neither, which is why the 2nd screen isn't required.

Some of you need to read this as it pertains to Smartglass:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/smartglass

Scroll to the bottom and you'll see it is offered on a varity of platforms (iOS, android, windows, etc.)

Here is a comparison chart:

It mentions Windows 8. If a 2nd screen for Deus Ex requires Windows 8, I'll pass.

I'd always assumed the 2nd screen wouldn't be available on PC, but I didn't mind because I'm much more interested in other features of the Director's Cut. But if it can work with SmartGlass + Windows 8 as well that will be a cool bonus.

My guess is that they won't be available. I don't see how you could comfortably use a smartphone/tablet while using a keyboard+mouse or a gamepad. It only seems comfortable with a WiiU controller or a Vita.

Reading comprehension would be a helpful skill for you to acquire. No, smartglass does not require Win8. Instead Windows 8 devices (Surface tablets & touchscreen laptops) can act as the second screen through a smartglass app; this is why it is compared against iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
