It appears I have two different accounts, both tied to the same login info.

na.square-enix.com/146497215 (http://na.square-enix.com/146497215)

The first one seems to be my original account as it has my games registered to it. The second is what I'm signed into using the same login information I've always used for my Square Enix Members account. I can only access the original account by going through the password reset process, which automatically logs me in upon completion. Logging in manually lands me in the second, newer account.

Did you register a new account on the website while also having the original account? If so I'd recommend just using your original account going forward.

I have the same problem, but i did not register a new account on the website, should we just keep resetting our password to login into our original account? because I want to keep my points due to the fact i was in the ultimate tier status.

Sorry for the late reply.


It's still happening for me, but I've gotten around it by signing into my original account (http://na.square-enix.com/145068099) via the password reset method in my OP and then linking my Twitter account. Signing in through Twitter now works, but typing my account name and password manually still logs me into the new account (http://na.square-enix.com/146497215).


This way works for me, but would it be possible to delete the new account (that has no registered games) all together? At the very least i would get rid of a worthless account and at best allow me to log into the right account normally.

Well I got KH 3D today, and I wanted to add the code into my account: ac4099 (/146278073). For some reason I couldn't login, and got impatient enough to register for another account (Nasakura (/149503759)). I didn't think that would be possible because of the same e-mail on that account. I just need one account, so would it be possible to delete Nasakura account, but save/add the points from the code of KH 3D onto ac4099 account. I would probably put in forgot password and enter in your email, Username, or URL and it will email it to you to change it and you can enter in the same password you had before, Or you might just have to add a captial letter to your username or password. Hope that can help.

I was wondering if it's possible to delete your square enix member account somehow.

I have 2 accounts now because of a mistake I did. I forgot to check spam on my first email, I got square enix mail but it was from europe so I thought it was something wrong.

A while back when I purchased FFCC: Crystal Bearers, I made an account and registered the game. I wasn't active with the account at all and think I may of only logged in once or twice after that and registered FFCC: Echoes of Time and didn't really do much other then look around. When Heroes of Ruin came out I went to merge my accounts and it seemed as if my old account was gone. However after just doing a search it's still there, I just can't access it. Is there a way to merge accounts so I can have everything under 1 username?

I see what it is. My username kdog254 is under SE's EU servers because of Heroes of Ruin and my username kdognumba1 is under NA servers. They both use the same email address as well. It appears I'll need 2 separate accounts either way as the EU servers ask for my email address when logging in and not the username. O well.

I have a problem, I didn't know I already had an account with Square Enix when I made one for when I played Final Fantasy XIV when I first bought it so I made a new one but here's the problem, I have points on my other account that I recently put up from my games, is there any possible way that I could have my other account merged with this one so that I don't have to buy the games again to get the points? I'm not worried about the how many times I've commented onto the forums but I just figured I'd want to have my games that I've registered onto one account.

So theres this new looking account thing we got going here and then theres this older account website. Are they transitioning all of it over to the new layout?

I ask because on the old website It says I have FF XIV registered but when I check my games on this new one it doesn't say I have any games.

I am confused LOL

Can someone explain to me whats going on here?

PS. I came back from a Hiatus when FF XIV first launched and really haven't been around since then.

This happened to me when I chose to log into FF7 with my Members account info instead of using the Square Enix NA account option. The launcher asked me to complete the registration process, and now my profile here shows no games registered and my points were reset to 50. (I'm guessing the system counts this as a new account now?) When I try to edit my profile, it takes me to the EU site.


Should I contact SE about getting my points and registered games back, or do you think this problem will work itself out?

Did you purchase [FINAL FANTASY VII] via the NA (store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/... (https://store.eu.square-enix.com/emea_europe/pc-windows-download/FINAL-FANTASY-VII.php)) store? It seems that a separate EU SEM account was created in the process. If you follow this link eu.square-enix.com/en (http://eu.square-enix.com/en) and click [Profile], you should be able to see [FINAL FANTASY VII] in your [Gameshelf].


Your old points and your NA SEM account should not have disappeared. Did you use [SamuraiGarrin] as your [Display Name] here as well, or did you use a different name?

I bought the game from the NA store and played it a bit using the SE NA login. The game showed as registered on this site until the EU SEM account was created. Now the game shows as registered on the EU Gameshelf but not here.


I used Garrin as my display name here.

I recently came back to this site and reactivated my account (used to be axel11). At the time I retained all my friends and registered games, but when I've tried to log in since then my registered games list is empty, my friends list is empty, and I've gone from over 900 points to 50.

Have you tried to purchase and register [FINAL FANTASY VII] or an SE Eidos Division title lately? If so, your new account should most likely be connected to SEM EU and not SEM NA.

The cross-account glitch usually occurs once every day for me. I often have SEM NA and SEM EU open simultaneously in two different tabs (WB:IE), and when I sign in on either of the websites I am automatically signed in on both of them until I log out and in again with the "wrong" account. I believe that's all I know about this problem. Also, I have had these two accounts from the start since I purchase as many NA editions of your games as EU ones. Oh, and my EU account is registered with a different email address from my NA account.

I have this problem too. I just went and registered Sleeping Dogs on my account today. Later I received an email confirmation notice from Square Enix, so I followed the instructions, but then confusingly seemed to create another account on the EU server. Now when I try to log onto the NA site, all my games are gone, and when I try to edit the profile, it redirects me to the EU site!

What the heck is going on!?

In 2010 when FF13 first came out, I registered the product registration card for a "special item" that I believe was for FF14. This was the only game I ever registered. I hadn't logged into this account until recently because I wanted to play FF14 and before I did, I checked the status of my registered games and saw FF13 on the list. Ok, good to go.

Then for the next few days I played FF14 and realized that I didn't get the special item incentive that came with FF13's code. I went back and logged into the SE site and checked the status of registered games and FF13 was no longer there?? All it says is "No Registered Games"! Empty.
Is this a glitch or bug? This is the only game I ever registered so I don't understand why it would suddenly disappear. I tried to input the code again but of course its invalid as I already put it in 2 years ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I will notify you as soon as I hear anything new. Both the SEM NA and the SEM EU team are currently working on a solution to this problem.

Gravity asked me to post the links to my wanted and unwanted Members accounts in this thread. I think that the second account (one of two Zebulun's) was made when I reset my password one night and was directed to the SE Europe site. The third (the Zebulun with the FF7 and Deus Ex registrations) was unintentionally created when I bought those digital downloads through the online store.

Is there nothing we can do about this? I e-mailed square-enix two times, they told me they can't do anything by e-mail, to contact by phone or chat support, so I went on the chat support, the guy told me he can't help me, that I need to call.





But I cannot call, I'm from Canada and it isn't free, plus english is not my first language.





They should really fix this. :(

I registered close to 10 games for my square enix account over the last like 6 months to a year, but when I log in now, my profile kind of..almost "reset" itself and all my registered games are gone, as well as my changed picture..is this part of the thing where your points reset after a year, or..?? I have the same problem! I'm so glad I found this thread! I submitted a ticket a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything back from customer support yet. I thought all my registered games, my points, and my achievements from FFVII had disappeared but when I click on "view profile"in FFVII the old account and info is still there! Unfortunately I can never log into it and I'm afriad if I ever log out of FFVII my old account will be locked out forever :( Please help!

Upon login, I checked my points and registered games. I checked it over and it was all in order- about 9 games downloaded and with 880 points. I finished your 2011 Rewards Survey and everything was gone. My points were now at 55 and I had no registered games.

First time I contacted they deleted the "New Account" and told me to relogging the next day.


The next day I relogged and the new account created itself again


So far theres no solution but to use Facebook login if its the same email? Idk However il contact again when I get the chance.

I don't know what to do anymore, this website is freaking broken I have created an account with my email, only to know later that I created it on the European website and I need to type my email on the North American website to log in, so I created another account correctly on the North American website, then I got a problem on Hitman: Absolution (I can't connect into anything in the game, Contracts, leaderboards, messages, etc) so I went to support, tried to log in with BOTH my accounts and none of them worked, they are registered on the SAME email, I went to "Forgot ID or password", typed my email and it said that there was no account registered to my email. So I tried to create another one (ironically in the same email I have registered my two accounts) but when I typed my desired ID, it said that the ID was not available, meaning it WAS registered with that ID. It's a damn mess.

I thought changing the EN account's username would enable me to access my NA account, but unfortunately when the EN account name changes, the NA account for the EN account (this inception is confusing...) does not change along with it. However, clicking the "my profile" button whilst on the EN account leads me to my original NA account.... and since I can't access my original NA account to change my username ( I concluded that changes in the EU account changes the original NA account also and not the NA of the EN account, but Changing the NA has no influence over the EN account.) ....I guess I'm trapped in this NA account of the EN. Furthermore, all three accounts share the same info including my name, address etc.

I want to log into my first account and I can't log into it, or the stupid new account. I have contacted support and they are want me to phone them. No thanks. Just bloody get my account back. Most of my registered games are gone off my first account too. What happened to all my DS games? My avatar that I created is gone and everything after they revamped the webpage. I called support and they advised me to create a support ticket and tie that to my phone inquiry. The man I spoke with informed me that usually they just delete the one account and then it fixes the isse but because I have a game registered to the new account he must escalate it to get the game moved from one account to the other, and then the new account will be deleted :)

I've had this problem for months, ever since I downlaoded the PC version of FFVII... something about creating a not-entirely-separate account via the European site, that sort of "doppelganger"-ed my real account, preventing me from getting in... I just called SE-NA (1-858-790-7529) and within five minutes they had given me the "real" system username and password for my real account and deleted the old one!

Linking your account with Facebook, Twitter or OpenID (SETTINGS - LINKED ACCOUNTS) might be a good idea to prevent yourself from being locked out from it in case a new one is created.

I'm having a very similar problem. I had 2 accounts under the same email, the second one was made for Heroes of Ruin which I had initial problems with but had one of the staffers over their merge my accounts. Originally I was using my original account name of "kdognumba1" however now I'm stuck with the secondary account name of "kdog254" with none of the registered games moved over, even when I log in using the original ID.

Hi!

I just found out that I have multiple accounts, whearas two account (which was a common issue, due to what I've read in this forum), an original account which I'm currently logged in and the ghost account in which I registered my FINAL FANTASY VII (PC) on it. I haven't been on my SQUARE ENIX MEMBERS account for awhile and was shocked to see that all my MEMBERS points and registered games were gone. Its a good thing that when I logged in with my Twitter account everything is all back to normal, but with an exception of ONE thing that I got upset about.

I accidently registered my FINAL FANTASY VII (PC) on my ghost account and when I tried to input my registration code on my original account (I knew it was going to happen), it turned to be an "Invalid registration code, please try again". This happens because I already have it registered on the wrong account instead of my original account which has all my MEMBERS points and registered games. Now... there is no way of putting that 100 points on my original account and feels like I wasted it already. Unless... if there is a way to transfer to my original account than, that would be great. '=_=

this is the problem I am having, it says I have no games registered and its almost the end of the SE year. I found a way to find your points, give it a try and see if it works for you.


Go to the home page area.


Then click your name on the left that says LV. 1


Then click "SETTINGS" then "PROFILE SETTINGS" from the drop menu


It'll bring you to a page about all your personal info to update. You'll see at the top right of the page your picture. Click it and it gives a drop menu. From here click "MY PROFILE"


If this all works, it'll bring you to your original page that has your points. Hopefully that helps you. It helps me find where my points are, but doesn't do much else. I've earned more points and its only applied to the "new" point total. So I'm at 155 points rather than what I should be at. I need to know if I need to start over on points for this year, if thats the case I've wasted way too much money just to miss out on any reward.

I just wrote like a page of writing explaining everything and was finished.. Clicked "post reply" and screwed it all up, go figure..





I have a problem with my account, it says I have 0 games registered, I have loads registered. I now have 155 points, 100 from the Hitman, 5 from voting for something, and 50 for something else can't think of now. So I found the way to find my original points, but none of the new points have applied to it. From the menu on the left I can click the picture of "SQUARE ENIX MEMBER LV. 1" this brings me to my personal info. Then I click the "SETTINGS" drop menu, then "PROFILE SETTINGS" then the top right is my picture with a white arrow drom menu. I click that then "MY PROFILE" this brings my to my account with my points. I have 7,130 on it. Not sure if all games count for 100 for everyone now, but for me they are 100 points each and my points have doubled because of it. So I want to know if this is going to be fixed anytime soon. I called down to the SE members hotline thing before and that didn't do anything. Tried it today and he said to change my password through my members name which was
Member_(series of numbers). That did not help, unless its gonna take a couple days to do it? Please help with the problem(s) I am having. I want to be able to claim my rewards here in a couple months, don't want it to pass my by saying I only have 155 ponits and miss out on it.

the one I am on now is my "new account" I changed the picture from the square enix members thing to what it is now. I have earned some points on this one and they have not applied to my old account. Messaged Robert Peeler and he told me to give the url to each account. Not sure if I did it right, grabbed the above link and copy pasted to each one. But if you member search my name hydenfez, it'll bring up only 2 accounts and those are both mine. The one with loads of points is the one I want, but then this one I want the points transfered over, seeing as I have earned them.

Hello I am having a similar account issue.


I somehow have an EU account: [na.square-enix.com/145856273 (http://na.square-enix.com/145856273)] which has all my registered games, that says it is NA, but when I go to profile settings I get this (eu.square-enix.com/en/profile/edit/basic (http://eu.square-enix.com/en/profile/edit/basic)). Username: Nillies
I'm not sure why this points to eu at all, but I assume it has something to do with the Final Fantasy VII PC release issues, since this pushed me onto EU when I installed the game and duplicated my account.


Then I also have an NA account: [na.square-enix.com/191250969 (http://na.square-enix.com/191250969)] that doesn't have any of my games. Username: NILESB


They both have the same login credentials(ie. username: Nillies password:********), so when I log in I'm able to access both. I would actually like to just have them consolidated into one account with the Nillies username on the NA system without losing my eu game registrations and points.

I have the same problem. Two accounts, one has my registered game and the other doesn't.


I'm really confused.. From what I've read around, they are supposed to be two seperate accounts linked together, but mine don't seem to be linked at all, except for having the exact same login info.

I'm having the same issue.


I keep getting redirected to an EU account (http://eu.square-enix.com/en/account/3417742), when this is my real NA account (/192828075). It put Final Fantasy VII on an EU account for some reason. When I try to edit my NA account it takes me to the profile edit for the EU account.

I'm having a similar issue. I try accessing this account na.square-enix.com/145113149, (https://na.square-enix.com/145113149,) but it keeps redirecting me to the eu settings and I can't access any part of the na site without it automatically redirecting me to the eu settings page. I had to create a new account just to be able to view the forums. I'm hoping they can find a solution to the problem or just delete the eu version of the profile because I need to access the na version so I can get my members code to sign up for the ps3 version of the FFXIV beta.

I've been also experiencing this dreaded problem myself. Whenever I try to access my "profile settings", it takes me to an EU page for my EU account that I must've made in the past apparently? I think this may have started when I purchased Final Fantasy VII (PC). I am 100% positive that I purchased the title from the NA store, but when I log in with my NA account, it takes me to the formentioned EU account profile page. Is there anyway to unlink and remove this EU account from my NA account?

I have all my games on the older one except there's one game registered to the newer one because I thought I had to start all over again. That is, until i logged out one day, relogged in, and somehow was in the other account. They have the same username, email, password, and everything. I tried to delete the newer one but it takes me to the Europe version of my site and there is no option to remove it on that one. I really do not want to risk deleting the older one because it shows more of my points and such.





The support help via email told me that there is no way to merge my accounts and I would basically have to deal with the problem. So every time I log in I won't know which account I'm logging into. /tools/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif

Two accounts, I originaly had a NA account then downloaded Final Fantasy VII and somehow obtained the EU account on top of it, I would like my Final Fantasy achievements on my NA account but everytime I log into FF7 it loads the EU account. Would love to see this fixed.

I don't know if this helps, but I tried changing my email in the settings to help me log-in on my original account...it took me to the secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/L... (https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account) page... the Square Enix account, not members account... then, when I changed the email, it only changed the email on my newer NA account which is linked to a EU account and is missing all of my registered games and such.


Also, if it is any help, my EU page says that I have been a member since August 30th, 2012 when in fact I have been a member of the Square Enix Members page since December 15, 2009 at least.

I used steam to download my games hitman absolute and the new tomb raider game as well as dues-ex. I have linked my steam account to the EU site of square enix but it has not shown any of my games. I made a NA using the same email and username and tried to link my steam account to that which I could not find an option. I would like my two accounts to be linked and syched with my steam being as I didnt get a cd key to register I did still purchase your product and have proof of purchase.

For some reason I had to call into support using the 310 number today. Whenever I went anywhere on my account it would be the EU website. I couldn't register my Tomb Raider so I called them and they sort of fixed most of the problem. The only problem I have now is that whenever I go to Settings>Profile Settings it would take me to the EU website still. I don't know why it's doing this!

I tried contacting the EU live chat support and they said they're looking into this but it seemed like they were unsure. I tried the USA live chat support and was rudely told that they can't do anything about this and gave me the shaft. Really upset that the USA live chat can be so rude that I'm still bitter how it ended up not even 10 minutes ago from this message being typed.

But anyways, I'm looking for a solution to remove any sort of EU account attached to my USA account. I don't even remember making a EU account but typed in my information anyways because I thought it was just where the NA Profile Settings took me.

Me too. I spent time with support for over an hour. It's a bug affecting some folks like me and you. It seemed the bug stemming from trying to register FFXIV online beta and the sign in mistaken US account into EU account. They fixed it for me, but the profile settings always go into EU site. Frustrating.

That's unfortunate :( But yes I was also part of the original FFXIV beta years ago. I hope this gets fixed up properly. I really don't know what else I can do.

I purchased Tomb Raider yesterday, created a square enix account and somehow must have created an EU one. Created a separate north america account, but profile settings still takes me to EU site.

I called in earlier to the 310 number and they sort of removed most of the EU information attached to my account. The problem I have now is when I go to Profile Settings, it takes me to the EU website. I don't have any idea why it takes me there nor do I have any EU games. I just want my NA account to be the only active one so remove the EU or whatever has to be done.

Not sure how to explain it but they are all tied to the same email and have the same display name. eu.square-enix.com uses gammjunke@gmail and has the display name GingFreecss420 just as this one does just as my steam account does. I linked my steam account to the EU one but cant find a way to link it to this one. Personally I wanna get rid of the EU one and use only the NA but even on the EU it hasnt registered the games I bought on steam and linked. Not sure why this is but I would like a fix. I have all my purchase info and everything. Also the EU site doesnt look anything like this site. perhaps I signed up to a phishing site?
