So we all know about the Mech arms still being maybe like. 50-100 years or possibly even 300 or so due to religious fold banning special research like stem cells that could cure cancer, and who knows what else.

But today we see a few of the stuff in the game already in real life. Like...E books!

So with the threads about the bullet proof human skin and others like it. How soon do you guys think we will be at the point where China has a city with two levels like it does and humans can augment themselves and have cool jet helichoppers lol.

Wasn't it somewhere in Asia (China or Japan?) where they're starting to expand a big shoreside city on the sea? I know nothing of architecture and statics but I'd guess building a two level city would be possible technically, but the amount of money and effort needed simply isn't affordable and also you'd have to make sure the likelihood of an earthquake is as low as possible. But I think if any country then either china or india will be the first to do such things simply for demographic reasons.

I think you are talking about Dubai. The oil money / las vegas capital of the Middle East.

If you were wondering what all your money at the pump is going to, it's that.
