No pictures, yet. I don't own a camera, and my cellphones front casing is cracked/smashed.

Making the general design with a block of wood + Dremel, and once I get to a point where I'm content with it, I'll make a cast of it and go from there. As for the lenses, I'm probably going to go with something like this- http://www.opticsplanet.net/bolle-golf-sunglsses.html. And then add reflective film to the back side. If anyone knows of any kind of gold/mirror like lenses, I'd appreciate a link.

And for those who don't know how it would work- Spirit gum or other kinds of theatrical adhesives.


Now if anyone from the dev team reads this, I've been working on what I can from pictures (1 (http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/File:Backpack_Deus_Specs.png), 2 (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=109840)), but would it be possible to get a very high resolution shot of just the specs up close in clear fidelity?

Well. Scratch the idea of carving it. The wood I was using as a base kept breaking when going for details. (I was using crap scrap wood from my job). Then on my way home from work I got an idea of... simply going to FiveBelow and buying a few sunglasses, one of which even had the lens I was looking for. Made one the base, added the lenses from the other, and now all I have to do is Frankenstein the rest with the other pairs of glasses/sand down the joints/scream at them until it works, and voila. Might not be as accurate as I wanted, but eh.

All in all... about ...20%(?) of the way done. I just hope to get more done before Dead Island comes out.
