I have a Geforce 8800 GTS card and dualboot between xp and vista. Only run vista when I play dx10 games. I now that Deus ex supports direct x 11, but does it support direct x 10?

It supports DX9 so it will automatically support DX10. Infact, as a rule of thumb, if a game supports DX11 it will support DX10.

DirectX10 is like the guy at the back of the party that kinda turned up, made a noise, everyone looked, then went back to partying before DirectX11 entered and people actually started taking notice and talking to him.

DirectX is just a means to communicate between the hardware and the software.. So the game takes advantage where it can, if you running a DX10 setup you will get natural improvements on a DX9 game just because 10 is bigger then 9.. You would need a DX11 compliant setup to be able to move up the next level tho.

According to this performance analysis, the preview version didn't support DX10, only DX11 and 9.

"Sadly though, Deus Ex: Human Revolution doesn’t support DX10 under the DX11 path. Or at least the preview code doesn't"

I was wondering if they have fixed this in the final version.
