Thanks Zakka for the link to the list.

This questions here is more of what to expect in the game, things I don't see in any trailer.

Stealth
What factors are AIs aware of?
- lightings (if a room light is changed (assuming there's an on/off ability)
do they notice it?

- a closed door left open
or
an open door closed shut
This was not in effect in the old DX

- dead / KO body I believe is part of their awareness, but I wonder if they'll ignore it later & step over it like the old game. :D

- Can KO bodies be revived?

HTH Combat
The instant kill & KO moves, is that only for unarmed combat?
What happens if we hold a knife or a gun?

does he put down the weapon & do the usual wooping? or does the weapon in hand become a part of the wooping (wacking the head with the gun)

Random questions: Some I don't expect non-developers to know :D
a) Can bodies block doors?
b) Can bodies trigger lasers?
if a person is killed & his body drops in the direction of the laser, does it set the alarm off?
c) Are we still able to talk to civilians, non of the trailers showed that, just important characters do the chatting

d) Are there Achievements? not important if there isn't, just wondering.
If there is, I hope we don't have to be online to make it work.
e) is the game required to be online? hope not

f) can the sunglasses be retracted? I see images of that, but it could be cinematics only.

There are answers to some of these already, just no demonstrated in the videos. We've been told that KO'd bodies discovered by other AIs will be revived, and the latest video shows a tranq'd AI getting back up.

thanks

but can't find the one he's referring to.
all shows the 2 chatting, so far no actual game video

if u mean the videos to answer my questions, non of them did. Most of them are behind the scenes questions & other game questions.

Nice trailer thanks, but didn't see any revival in it, may have missed it, lol

I did see lots of KOs though. The turret thing was interesting.

Lighting is not a factor in stealth, so they probably wouldn't notice if you switched a light.

a closed door left open
or
an open door closed shut
This was not in effect in the old DX

Doors that have been closed previously, but are now open, will be noticed by guards. We don't know if that works the other way around

No way to know right now.

- Can KO bodies be revived?

Yes. By other guards.

HTH Combat
The instant kill & KO moves, is that only for unarmed combat?
What happens if we hold a knife or a gun?

There are no melee weapons in the game. Just take-downs. And it doesn't matter if you have a gun in your hand. Tap once -> KO. Hold -> DEAD.

does he put down the weapon & do the usual wooping? or does the weapon in hand become a part of the wooping (wacking the head with the gun)

Most likely no.

It will use Steam, that is, you have to be online to trigger the achievements but you can play in offline mode after activating once.

no light awareness bummer, lol
not even when u switch it with them inside? lol

I hear about a Demo, is it out yet?
when its out how to get it?

:)

Demo is still undecided, if they do make one it will probably be out around the same time as release, probably available to everyone for free.

Just saw the latest trailer & it occured to me

The keypad door code
for PCs, can we use the numbers on our own keypad?
rather than use the mouse.

I hope so, that's what i like in DXI feels like we're typing it with our own fingers.

Yes we can. We can even enter passwords manually just like in Deus Ex 1 if I remember correctly.

In DXHR you can enter the password manually but if you know the password it will appear on screen next to the code pad.

Is the sunglasses retractable?

sunglasses are rectractable.
Flashbangs yes.
Anti-Flashbang lenses? No idea.

I thought the sunglasses only retracted in certain rare instances throughout the game?

I would like player control with those though. On and off all day. :)

Actually they aren't really retractable. They are retracted in some scenes, that's it. That's what I understood from JJB,.

Yes that's what I meant. No player control. :(
