Must watch if you want to have a good laugh. It's supposed to be the most expensive bolylwood film ever created.

the quote below is from slashfilm.com:

Want to see something insanely ridiculous? Check out this clip from the 2010 Bollywood science fiction film Enthiran. The clip can only be described as Terminator 2 meets The Matrix but with 100 times more ridiculous action. Trust me, watch it now.

Oh and yes, this is totally related to Deus Ex.

To be the technical guy, this isn't really Bollywood, it's a Tamil movie (it was dubbed separately in Hindi for the Bollywood audience).

And yes, it is awesome.

The best part of Bollywood is how they are shameless in their ripoffs of other movies.

Not in its entirety, but yeah. Every movie that stars Rajnikanth is a factory of fantabulous wonderment.

Which is about as true as saying that the best part of Hollywood is about movies like:

A lot of movies are a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of etcetera

Applies to Hollywood at least as much as it applies to bollywood.

I'll agree that they do far too many remakes and reboots and prequels but it's not THIS bad

Almost shot for shot stolen. I would love to see a hollywood film get away with that. (Before you use the example psycho, that was licensed these were stolen)

To be fair both of these examples are far more entertaining than any Hollywood movie I've seen lately.

A bit off topic, but The King's speech was excellent if you're having trouble finding something.

Still, those two examples are very much staggering... The first, I think, was outrageously bad. The second was outrageously copied...

I am not into Bollywood, but if that is really all they make there, I think we don't miss out on anything...

Yes, you do. What better type of movie when you are just having a few beers and a pizza than an outrageously bad movie? Don't you ever want to just watch some mindless entertainment without the pretentiousness and formulaic rehashes that are currently circulating mainstream cinema?

Ah man, they used to show the trailer for Robot all the time at my gym. I'm not exaggerating: if I stayed there for an hour, I'd see that trailer at least 5 or 6 times. At least. There's a ridiculously hot woman wearing black and silver in the trailers, I didn't see her when I skipped briefly through the above vid but she may be in there. Seriously, seriously beautiful.

....And that's about all the insight I have into this topic. "Chick is hot." Yay me.

Isn't it a British production? That's what I thought., at least. It got the most oscar nominations.

Shaolin Soccer is excellent for that. Really funny mindless entertainment. Or Kung Pow.

The first movie was Turkish and not even remotely Bollywood, and the second was a comedy that spoofed many Bollywood movies as well. (P.S. It's also a terrible film)

No, that isn't all Bollywood makes.

While unfortunately YouTube isn't allowing a full song sequence to be uploaded, you can see quite a bit of dancing in this trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgpaY0TwvlE).

Better, but you're still picking from Bollywood's worst-of-the-worst lot. :)

(Political correctness doesn't have anything to do with it any way, it's like saying that a Hong Kong movie is a Hollywood film)

India finances films there occasionally, just like japan does with china, or what we do with britain. And i'm not picking the worst of the worst, all I did was type in "bollywood ripoffs" and you get a dime a dozen. Like how they copied memento:
