Here's a place to show what we have bought to help out and show our support of our Beloved DX3.

Just picked up a Cap and T.Shirt...With the DX3 Logos.

So lets see what else we have bought folks.

I was about to post with a grumble about no new posters from the store, but that great concept of Adam reclining is up there now.

http://www.eidosmontreal.com/en/shop.html#deusex3

Doubt I'll grab one though, shipping cost is huge. Someone share an order with me to the UK! :P

I bought huge piles of nothing, but nothing was for free.

Oh snap! I've been wanting a shirtless adam poster. :D

Now I want a poster of that one image of Adam looking over a city with his combat form in the window's reflection. It was an elusive image, I remember seeing it at E3. :0

Ditto. I'll buy it but will have to wait for some disposable funds :hmm:

Oh, you mean the one I used here? Yeah, that'd be pretty nice in a poster.

I don't really buy video game merchandise at all, and I'm certainly not going to buy merchandise of a game before it's even out.

Pre-order bonuses are where it's at. Who has a Viewtiful Joe bobblehead? This guy.

EDIT: Just checked out what merch there is. Wasn't terribly impressed. I mean really? How many times are we going to see the same damn promo beanie/ball cap/polo shirt? The only thing that really caught my eye was the scarf, because you don't typically see those as video game merch. Still though, not worth the $12 just because it says DEUS EX 3 in big letters on it.

That's another thing? Why can't video game merch be more tasteful? Those shirts they gave out at E3 were super awesome, because they weren't just "NAME OF GAME" on it. I'd probably think about buying that scarf if it just had the Hive logo on it.

I agree creative merch is great. I'd buy a hive staff shirt if they ever sold one.

First shirt I considered buying, really good look. Though I probably won't order anything else until I have (or have sampled a demo of) the game.

Yes but thats not THE hive staff shirt from the game. The one from the leaked gameplay that tong wore. I wouldn't mind buying it if it didn't have all the other logos on it.

Well, I'm not one to buy merch. Paying twenty or thirty bucks for a t-shirt. is not something I can concieve doing.
As was said, it's primarily "NAME OF GAME" slapped on run-of-the-mill items. Yes, that game logo carefully placed in a none-too-fancy way along with the developer logo(s) sprinkled on makes me feel just like a lovely walking ad.
Frankly, I could do just as well making it myself using those iron-on printer sheets. :D And it would be nice and custom...

I have a couple of the original t-shirts - but I want the Hive one. I also have the beanie hat, fleece jacket and USB laser pen. Just yearning for the posters now.

I might possibly buy something if a) the shipping prices weren't utterly ridiculous and b) paypal was supported

Are those...flowers on his shoulder pads?

Conspiracy time! I see a rose and a lily.

The full Taché poem reads, "Je me souviens, que né sous le lys, je grandis sous la rose."

Yep.

It fits with the whole "Badass with Class" motif he's got.

One of the previews commented that the badass coat featuring a floral motif makes Adam the manliest and girliest game protagonist at the same time :rasp:

That and a voice equivalent to Clint Eastwood doing Batman (kudos Elias!)

I'd get the Hive shirt if it wasn't at least a week faster to drive up to the studio and get it in person, then drive it back.

Wuh?

Sporting a subtle floral-swirly design upon the badass longcoat=/=maximum girliness. :hmm:

I bought the Black Messenger bag along with the Grey shirt. And then later bought the cool Eidos Mug.

Now I'm waiting for the Oakley made Adam Jensen shades, that would be cooool.

Agreed. There is nothing more sexy and manly than a guy who isn't afraid to step outside society's stereotypical masculinity box. Besides, how does possession of an aesthetic sense have anything to do with your manhood level? Really.

I could not have said it better. The floral embroidery that Adam has sewn on the shoulders of his jacket are so original and beautiful to see. And I'm a boy. :p

It shows class IMO. Makes him seem more interesting and sociable than the usual stone cold hero.

FrankCSIS

I didn't mind the pattern itself, it actually does look badass. Badass with class has always been a personal aspiration :p

I'm wondering, coming from a Montreal artist, if there is a meaning to the rose and the lily both being present, seeing how they're respectively the emblem of the English and French nations of the colony, before it was annexed to become the canadian federation.

But yeah, most likely not :p Probably just a cool floral pattern!

He's the kind of guy that could easily get away with pink shirts.

My ideal cyberpunk taste gives a touch of edgy low life for the protagonist, but I'm enjoying the trend of DX protagonists being classy and well groomed, without seeming too uptight. I'd love to know what the plans were for his dress sense before they toned down the renaissance vibe, I bet he had a gigantic ruff and a doublet. :P

Realistically, some choices could easily make him lose his powerful connections, end up on the run, and get a taste of low life edgyness. It'd be an interesting character development in a game, quite different from the usual evolution.

He would have given Jon Pertwee a run for his money.
