Just more people talking what others have already seen. Looks like no gameplay to be seen for us.

Reading now.

Don't bother... it reads like every other one.

"They really get what DX is about"
"They have a lot to prove"
"Eidos has a huge mandate"
"Hacking Social Steal or Boom"
"Take downs , weapons mods"
psssh

The build we saw wasn't extremely polished

Guess that explains why we wont see any in-game. That i actually don't mind. I thought they just fancied being cruel haha.

I'm not sure I'm liking the narrative of the story, or at the very least, the cutscenes.

It sounds like the writing will suffer in DXHR much as it did with the sequel to Condemned: Criminal Origins. Take a look at the cheesy, over-the-top, B-movie trailer here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO35hW1SnUM&feature=related).

*DISCLAIMER* : I'm a MASSIVE fan of Condemned: Criminal Origins and, to a lesser extent, Condemned 2: Bloodshot. HOWEVER, there is no denying that the writers of the original Condemned took a vacation and allowed monkeys with pencils stuck between their teeth to write for the sequel.

As for the preview itself, as well as all other previews, this is all I have to say about it (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/30/eidos-and-gamespot-forums-exploding-over-gerstmann-incident/).

This preview was written extremely quickly it seems. Not nearly as detailed as the others.

I've read all of the previews and every interview, and there isn't even the vaguest impression that this is true.

It's sounds as if everything is going well. I can't wait, although it seems I have no choice. :D

Another 12 months or so and we will hopefully see this title on the shelves at our favourite game store.

Adam finds the trigger to the explosives he was looking for, but the effect he gets isn't the one he expects: a countdown timer signals a local detonation. Adam leaps towards a nearby window, and while it cracks, it does not shatter. Adam leapsa second time, just as the explosion occurrs and thrust him outwards.

Deus Ex!

Also three typos in the last sentence. Good job Gamespot.

One of the most unemotional boring previews I've read. Just a description and no subjective opinion. Seemed like he didn't want to be there at all and just went through the motions to fulfill a task. Lame.

Dude Gamespot is pretty much a **** site. I've read some of their articles and almost all of them are like that.

Yes. That was my impression too.

The PCGamer preview is probably the best we'll get.

I really hate it when they don't let the person actually PLAY the game. Instead some corporate goon plays it and tells them how satisfying and "immershuv" it is.

Yawn..

RELEASE THE GOD DAMN GAMEPLAY TRAILER ALREADY. it better be here tomorrow else you've wasted your entire time at e3 Eidos.

This. Gamespot is always basic on what it says.

Well that was a pretty lame preview - the writer put me to sleep. much prefered the PC Gamer article and PC Gamer didn't give away spoilers either ("Tong is the bartender you were talking too") - thanks Gamespot, why don't you just tell us the ending so we don't have to bother playing the game for ourselves?
