First of all, Iīve got to tell you that I really love how many of your/Eidos older Games have appeared on GOG.com! :flowers:
Espacially the rerelease of Hitman: Contracts is a real highlight, as well as itīs super cool that all Legacy of Kain-Titles since Soul Reaver are awailible on GOG.com!

What is not so cool is that three things are completly lacking:
1. There are NO games from Square on GOG that offer multilingual support out of the house!
2. There are NO Final Fantasy games on GOG...
and, most important: 3. There are no games from Square on GOG that were released in 2006 and later.

There is NO reason for every of those issues.
Folks waited eleven years for a worthy DeusEx-Successor and even three years after the release of HumanRevolution there is still a lack of a DRM-free Version, although Part One and Two already are on GOG.
And rereleasing games in non-Multilingual Version while one of them exists extremly hurts the sales of your games---why are you doing this?
Arenīt you interested in our money enough to do this? Doīnt you think that a DRM-free Version of Human Revolution would be able to outperform every other of your GOG-games excerpt Anachronox and the original DeusEx? And whatīs the matter with Absolution, with TombRaider 2013, with Sleeping Dos? And donīt you think that the older FinalFantasies would sell extremly well, too?

Please, be kind and give your costumers what they demand:
For example: Just take a look at the wishlist entry for FinalFantasy VII:
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/final_fantasy_vii
I think this says everything...

Well, weīve proberbly all heard this infamous statement from Square:
http://torrentfreak.com/square-enix-drm-boosts-profits-and-its-here-to-stay-140415/
This sounds very ugly, but Iīm sure youīll change your mind as soon as you see how MASSIVLY you could boost the sales of your games with a DRM-free Rerelease!
Just try putting in some of the "modern classics": How about Blood Money, the newer Tomb Raiders or even the third part of Deus Ex?
Blood Money would definitivly worth a try, as itīs already DRM-free in Boxed Edition!
Put it at 15$, with a 50% off at rerelease date; or let it show up for 10$ regular, but stable pricing!

Oh, and donīt miss Final Fantasy VII. As predicted, the sales will be astonishing!

(Hopefully this can somehow be passed on to the people at Square Enix.)

I would like to petition Square Enix (Squeenix) to please release more of their games on GOG.com. I realize Steam has a larger audience and Squeenix may overall be vary of DRM-free, but there are a significant number of gamers who want to be able to play their games offline or be able to back them up on disc or drive. Pirates will always pirate whatever they can (and the reality is it's easy to get many games off pirate sites); paying customers shouldn't have a lesser experience just because they want the ease of use that pirates get. (Consider the situation of Watch Dogs and Uplay.)

GOG got first dibs on various Squeenix classics like Anachronox, Omikron, Pandemonium, etc. before the games appeared on Steam, and as a fan I appreciate that, but since then the number of releases has been exclusive to Steam. I want to encourage the people at Square Enix to please release titles currently on Steam DRM-free on GOG.

I recognize that, reality-wise, the Final Fantasy classics are possibly the least likely to happen, but I certainly want to bring them up. There are over 30,000 wishlist votes on the GOG wishlist for the Final Fantasy games to appear there - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=final%20fantasy&order=votes_total

Please do bring Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 to GOG - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=dungeon%20siege&order=votes_total . It is my understanding that these games are now under Squeenix's control.

Also however unlikely, it would also be nice to be able to continue the Deus Ex series with Deus Ex: Human Revolution - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=deus%20ex:%20human&order=votes_total Likewise with the Hitman series and Hitman: Blood Money - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/hitman_blood_money - and other series like Tomb Raider - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total&search=tomb%20raider

I believe Core Design has quite the backlog, too (DOS titles could be bundled with DOSBox) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_Design#Games_developed_and_published

In a nutshell, please be proactive in allowing GOG.com to publish more of your highly-desired games - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total - on their DRM-free service.

Blood Money would definitivly worth a try, as itīs already DRM-free in Boxed Edition!
No, it isn't. There's DRM in Blood Money too, you can't play the game without the disc in the computer.

I think this depends on edition and country in which you buy the game! Iīve got reports from some users that at least their retail is DRM-free---maybe a greenpaper edition or such a thing...
BTW: Still no offical answer? Come on, Square!

The JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky has been released on GOG, and seems to be selling exceptionally well. I hope Square Enix Japan takes notice of this and is eventually willing to release the Final Fantasy games DRM-free on GOG.com.

I would also like to see the rest of the Tomb Raider games coming to GOG, I know that last year Square Enix released a retail bundle of all three second era games (which aren't on GOG) and the last of the first era (which are on GOG) and they were all DRM free, so I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be on GOG.

I certainly would like to ditto the request to bring some or ANY of the FF games to GOG. I have no interest in purchasing the tablet versions, but would insta-buy any of them that showed up on GOG in a heartbeat! (Came here just to check out GOG availability and post this.)

I'd love to have all the Dungeon Siege games on GOG complete with the expansions. I'd pay very good money for that. And Revenant was an Eidos game, so I hope it can come to GOG. And a game that wasn't good but I'd like to see come back would be Conquest Earth (a guilty pleasure of mine). ;) The Final Fantasy games belong on GOG too. And if you'll indulge me in some daydreaming, I'd love to see Square Enix bring their NES, SNES, and PSX library of games to GOG. I mean, most of those games are already being pirated out the wazoo, and all Square has done so far is put some of them on mobile (because Japanese market). =/ If you guys could figure out your own solution for giving us as good an experience as the PC emulators already provide (graphic filters, state saving, etc.) Square could recycle that for use with each game. I know Sega could do it for their Genesis games because that was their own hardware, but if Square can bring them to mobile, I don't see what's stopping them from bringing it to PC. Actually, I just checked and Chrono Trigger has about 7000 votes on GOG! And lastly, I hope Square brings their newer games to GOG too. Thanks for listening.
Edit: Oh, and I read somewhere that Eidos bought that old company Domark back in the day, so I hope that means you can bring back stuff like Absolute Zero, Tank Commander, and Total Mayhem. Though those were also guilty pleasures as they weren't terribly good games either.

Hey there! I would love to see the Final Fantasy games come onto the GOG catalogue, I love them! I would buy them ASAP! Especially 5, it holds a special place in my heart. Anyways, thanks for the forum guys, DRM-free, woo-hoo!

More games on GOG.com is a fantastic idea, but Square-Enix doesn't listen to their fans.

What the fans want is completely different than what Square-Enix wants.

Seeing that Deus Ex Human Revolution is now in a content-complete package, i see no reason as to why a game with no online components whatsoever should have DRM. Personally, i accept the notion of having DRM in a game because copy protection is often used to provide an online platform but when the game doesn't connect to the internet at all, it just seems like a waste to not sell it DRM-free.

Total agreement. And Square got so many games that doesnīt have online functionality---or if they have (like TombRaider2013) itīs nonessential.
So there really is no point why there isnīt a DRM-free Version of Deus Ex III, espacially if you rember that Deus Ex and DXNeverExisted are availible DRM-free on GOG.com...

Just wanted to say thanks for allowing GOG to release Gex on their service! I hope eventually we'll see the Final Fantasy games, Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 with Expansions, Deus Ex:HR, Hitman: Blood Money, etc.

Oh, and please bring multi-language versions of games already on GOG!

I've been (finally) playing through the original Tomb Raider 1 thanks to GOG, and would like to get more Tomb Raiders (Legend, Anniversary, etc.) DRM-free! :) http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=tomb+raider&order=votes_total

And, of course, people are still waiting on Hitman Blood Money, Deus Ex Human Revolution, etc.

Becoming a common theme, this latest weekend promo on GOG (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/weekend_promo_fair_square_6681e)has many forum users saying things like, "(I want) more Square Enix gems from the past. I have pretty much everything from this promo already." and "Nice sale but I wish we would get some new Square Enix releases instead." I think it's been close to 9 months since the last Square Enix release on GOG, so I hope that changes soon.

Here are the most highly-desired games, based on the GOG wishlist (I think my math is decent):

Final Fantasy games - 35,700+ votes (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total&search=final fan)
Dungeon Siege 1/Aranna & 2 - 14,600+ votes (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total&search=dungeon siege)
Tomb Raider games & missing expansions - 4,800+ votes (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total&search=tomb raider)
Deus Ex Human Revolution (original and/or DC) - 4.300+ votes (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#order=votes_total&search=deus ex human)
Hitman: Blood Money - nearly 1,500 votes (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/hitman_blood_money)

I don't usually post much on specific developer or publisher forums, but I registered an account to add my voice to tfishell and the others here: I'd love to be able to buy hassle-free, drm-free GOG versions of both newer games and more classic games from Square Enix.

Among the many SE games that I'd be happy to buy on GOG, I especially want:

Tomb Raider: Legend (over 500 votes) (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/lara_croft_tomb_raider_legend)
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (over 700 votes) (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/lara_croft_tomb_raider_anniversary)
Tomb Raider: Underworld (over 500 votes) (http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/tomb_raider_underworld_1)

Considering that most GOGers don't seem to bother voting, those are great numbers. Iirc, the GOG userbase numbers in the millions (and seems to be steadily growing), so I'd guess the actual number of interested gamers using GOG is much, much higher.

Recent efforts by other developers such as Nordic Games to bring newer games (Darksiders, Darksiders II, Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third) to GOG have been enthusiastically welcomed and successful.

In short: We love you and your games! Please bring more of them to GOG.

And the most important thing: No risks, no problems, simply more sales for you!
And right now would be good timing as there arenīt so many new releases in summer so the stage is yours to rule!

I'd also like to be able to buy more Square Enix games on GOG, especially DXHR (original release with separate TML preferred as it has far fewer issues than the director's cut, or release both the original and the DC there)

While I appreciate the Revenant release, there are still more single-player games that shouldn't be too hard to bring to GOG, yet still are not available -

Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Just Cause 1 & 2
Life Is Strange
Hitman Blood Money
Dungeon Siege 1 & 2
Deus Ex Human Revolution

I understand that GOG remains a small player compared to Steam, but if any of the appropriate people read this, please find the time to bring more games to GOG.

Specially since you're already selling some of your later games as a DRM free download on you own Store.

I'm getting tired of seeing Square-Enix games listed on Steam while GOG.com is being completely ignored. Square-Enix is missing out on a lot of sales. According to the GOG.com wishlist there are more than 50,000 people who want to purchase the Final Fantasy games alone. I simply don't understand why this is happening.

I've never seen a company that was so stubborn when it comes to making money and pleasing their customers.

If there's any chance this message can get to the appropriate Square Enix executives/"higher ups", I and other GOG users just want to encourage them to work with GOG to release more games on said service. It has been about 1.5 years since Square Enix released anything on GOG; they've had numerous sales which are appreciated, but many people are hankering for some new game options. Not even brand new games are needed, GOG could still get titles like Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary, Hitman Blood Money, Deus Ex Human Revolution, and missing Core Design (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_Design#Games_developed_and_published) DOS or Windows titles like Heimdall 1 & 2. (And many others) Of course the Final Fantasy games would be most appreciated, but if Square Enix is unwilling to make those DRM-free right now, surely they can let GOG have other titles.

I'll share some ideas from the GOG wishlist, based on combined votes:

Final Fantasy series (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=final+fan&order=votes_total) - 40,000+ votes
Dungeon Siege series (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=dungeon+siege&order=votes_total) - nearly 20,000 votes
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=blood+omen+l) (shame the rights are such a mess) - nearly 10,000 votes
Chrono Trigger (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/chrono_trigger) (PC port request, I guess) - 9,500+ votes
Deus Ex series (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=deus+ex&order=votes_total) (games not already on GOG) - 7,000+ votes
Hitman series (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=hitman&order=votes_total) (games not already on GOG) - 2,300+ votes
Tomb Raider series (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=tomb+raid&order=votes_total) (games & expansions not already on GOG) - 6,500+ votes

Hopefully we GOGers won't have to wait too much longer for more Square Enix releases! :) (I have encouraged other GOG forum-ers to share their desire for more Square Enix releases in this thread, without being annoying or spammy of course.)

I for one would love to see GOG get those games. I have nothing against other distributors but unfortunately they simply aren't a viable option for some of us due to connectivity and location. True that isn't their fault, and those of use who can't use them represent a minuscule group, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of us would depend on SE bringing games like "TR Anniversary" and "Dungeon Siege" to GOG in order to be able to play them. Titles like that are a must have for any gamer and shouldn't be held back from anyone regardless of how seemingly insignificant the reasons and the players.

I would also love to see more Square Enix releases on GOG. Currently, I have the entire catalog of SE games there, and would love to see the likes of TR Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld; Hitman Blood Money and Absolution; 25 to Life; Just Cause 1 & 2; the Final Fantasy games; Fighting Force; and Kane & Lynch 1 & 2 among others.
