View Full Version : Microsoft .NET Framework Error when launching game

I have the steam version of AA. This game worked fine on my old laptop but when I try to run it on my new Asus G73JH laptop I receive a Microsoft .NET Framework error when I launch the game. The error details are as follows:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

I have also copied the UserEngine, UserInput, and UserGame files to the appropriate folders to see if that would fix the issue, but it doesn't. I have also ensured that the PhysXLevel option is set to 0.

If I run ShippingPC-BmGame.exe I receive a General protection fault error.

I have already deleted the local content of the game and restored from a backup to try to fix the issue but it still persists. I have also tried installing various versions of the .NET Framework to ensure that is not the issue.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
