Hello there, fine folk of the forum.

I just wanted to let PC people know that Valve is giving away Portal for free until the 24th of May. Head on over to http://store.steampowered.com/freeportal/ to get your copy, or just open Steam if you have it and search for it in the store.

Not a free trail or anything. 100% free purchase.

Also, if you have a Mac then why not put your first Valve game on it at no cost? Portal is free for all!

Awesome, yes?

Thanks :D

I'm trying to tell everyone I can. I'd post it in the general discussion because it's such freaking awesome news, but it'd probably get deleted D:

So, it's not for all Macs? D:

They made it sound like Steam would be compatible for almost all Macs!

Apparently they hate iMac veterans... The ones who use Tiger 10.4

Here's what my mac looks like: http://yourtech.typepad.com/main/WindowsLiveWriter/ReusingtheglobespeakersfromanoldiMac_ADA5/imac17bol_thumb2_1.jpg

Everything's the same, speakers, mouse, keyboard, desktop style..

Everything's the same, speakers, mouse, keyboard, desktop style..That is such a cute computer! :p

I remember seeing them advertised on TV many years ago, but until now I'd long since forgotten about that particular model of iMac.

Speakers don't look very powerful though :D
