Hi folks – just a note about some housekeeping. I’ve noticed recently that a lot of blog post comments threads are getting derailed by people posting off-topic issues.

Obviously, the reason we enable comments on blog posts is to allow you to express your constant appreciation of all the amazing things we do… and, yeah, obviously to make clear your feelings on those extremely rare occasions that hardly ever happen when you’re not happy about something.

Anyway, we still want that feedback – good and bad. It might not always seem like it, but we read everything you post here on the Square Enix Europe blog, and all of the constructive feedback is passed on to other departments within Square Enix. We can’t always respond to all your questions, for a variety of reasons – but your comments are always noted.

However, sometimes this passion bubbles over into other posts, about projects or games that have nothing to do with the issue you’re commenting about – usually involving completely different teams, and often different gamer groups too.

So, I’d like to ask you to keep commenting and showing the passion you always have. It’s a privilege to read your feedback, good or bad - because even when that feedback is the hardest to read, it’s because of your passion for Square Enix and our games, and we really appreciate that.

But I’d also like to ask that you keep comments on-topic, so from now on, if comments stray from the content of the blog posted, they’ll be deleted. We’ll do our best to point you to the right place to post those comments instead.

And obviously, any thoughts you have on these changes is welcome in the comments section (http://eu.square-enix.com/en/blog/changes-comment-moderation).
