Geforce 260 gtx with the nvidia 181.22 drivers.

Using any other drivers make my games lose around 10-20 fps so that is the only driver i can use at the moment.

You realllly need to update your drivers.. the very latest may be recalled but the ones before that are absolutely fine... without knowing the rest of your spec i cannot see how you get better results from a driver thats over a year old..

Chicken I would recomend upgrading your drivers but before you just download and instal there are some steps you should follow.

1. Download DriverCleaner Pro (you can get it for free if you look around a little)
2. Uninstall the Nvidia drivers through the Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel
3. Run DriverCleaner Pro
4. Boot your computer into Safe Mode (Google this one if you need, I completely blanked on how to do this lol)
5. Run DriverCleaner Pro again (this helps ensure it got all the misc data)
6. Restart your computer again and install the drivers and you are all set.

Installing drivers on top of each other can cause any of a rather large list of problems. This happens with both Ati and Nvidia. Give this a shot and try installing the latest drivers, I can assure you that there will not be a 20fps drop in performance. If anything you should notice an increase in performance unless you are going from DX10 to DX11 as there are some more in depth graphics. Give this a try an let us know how it works out for you.

For the freezing have you tried turning the SSAO off? I have seen some people on the forums experience issues with this.

Edit : Your computer specs are more than enough to run the game very smoth.

Just installed it, and it is performing better. It is 3-5 fps slower than the 181.22, buuuut i dont care about that ^^
