Today i saw one guy who actualy told that he downgraded nvidia drivers 19.. to 18..
I tried that too, but after i tried to play the game, the games was running slow..
8 fps in main menu, and in game.
So i uninstalled the drivers and installed back 196.22 but problem remains.
I tried other games and everything was fine except just cause 2, it just keeps running in 8 fps whenever i play it..
So what should i do ?\

Pc specs
Core2Duo E5200@ 2.82ghz
2048 Mb or ram
9800GT 512mb

the trouble is you computer is at a half way , some of your things are min spec like 2gb ramm, but then youve got a 9800gt , i would say that you may need a little more ram to give it a boost , also what power supplie do you have ?

some tips for you :

# Make sure you are using the latest drivers from nvida / ati because they have been optimised for jc2.
# Also make sure direct x is up to date they are always realising little updates.
# Also you must always update you sound card drivers, weather it is a sound card or on board , this can effect lagg in a game.

# Also try this program it shuts down all background things wiles you play the game, its a good game booster, and best of all its free. http://download.cnet.com/Game-Booster/3000-18541_4-10913645.html

Do a system restore prior to the day you downgraded your graphics driver. Also if you listen to the poster above me about getting more ram remember that 32 bit cuts off at 3 gigs and you'll have to upgrade to 64 bit if you want more.

Yea i know, re downloaded the game from steam and now everything works fine.
Except i cant max out, dunno why, maybe because of ram, and maybe because of drivers, what do you think ?
Somebody posted up some info about rendering and that the 9800GT runs like ass at js2 demo.

what do you think ?

you need better hardware ;) im running on almost the same specs, im just running two 9800 GTs in sli with an amd 6000+ dual core at 3 ghz and 2 gigs of 800 mhz ddr 2 ram, it just simply isnt enough to be running on max settings.. im doing fine at medium settings at 1280 x 1024 resolution
