I've got an Nvidia GeForce GTS 250. I've enabled PhysX from the control panel and have the latest version installed (if I try to install the PhysX software from the BAA DVD, it says a newer version is already installed). PhysX works on on other games which use it, like Mirror's Edge. When I try to set the PhysX setting from the launcher, it tells me that my hardware doesn't support hardware accelerated PhysX.

Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a fix? I'm running Windows 7 x64 with BAA 1.1.

had the same problem with a game called dark void i have 2 9800gt's

i did this and it fixed the problem with dark void i do not know if it will help with BAA

For Vista/Win7

In the Control Panel select Programs and Features
Right click on "NVIDIA game system software 2.8.1" and select 'Uninstall'
Right click on "NVIDIA PhysX" and select 'Repair'

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "NVIDIA game system software 2.8.1". There is no NVIDIA game system software on the list; there's a bunch of other NVIDIA things, but I'm not sure which one you're referring to. As for the PhysX, hitting repair just opens up a window saying "Windows is configuring NVIDIA PhysX" and then closes.

I'm not sure which version number is needed, so here's (http://imgur.com/fg5BZ.png) all of them.

EDIT: the driver (http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_196.21_whql.html) I downloaded had version 196.21.
