1) I would presume so considering Dead Men PC Version was released the same time as it's console counterparts but nothing is confirmed yet. Recently a number of PC games (like Batman: Arkham Asylum) have been released after their console counterparts.

2) Not sure. If they want to utilise DX10 and DX11 specifically then no it wont.

3) Not confirmed yet but probably around August-November 2010 IMO. :)

4) PC games usually can look better than their console counter-parts but it all depends on how well the PC version is built and how powerful your system is.

It will be a very bad move from Square enix if they make it DX10/Vista /7 exculsive as most people still use xp and anyway games still look better on pc than console even on dx9.

It all depends really - if their up-coming games for PC are not compatible for XP then that doesn't bode well for XP users wanting to play Dog Days but for now we'll have to wait till we get some concrete information direct from IO Interactive.

It is worth noting that Windows 7 has been selling extremely well as well as getting universally positive reviews. Gamers also seem to be warming up to it:

My guess is that Dog Days will use DX10
