After reading an old, old preview for the Chronicles of Riddick game (the old one, from the Xbox 1) and I discovered the piece about Normal Mapping. What I was wondering was that does IO keep the basic features of the engine (physics, AI, etc) and add progressively updated textures or other upgraded componets? Or is some other massively technical explanation?
