:mad2: So Steam is pushing this great old game, but not supporting it...

I've tried the registry fix:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Pyro]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Pyro\Commandos]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Pyro\Commandos\1.0]
"DirCd"="D:\\Games (x86)\\Steam\\Steamapps\\common\\commandos behind enemy lines"
"DirIns"="D:\\Games (x86)\\Steam\\Steamapps\\common\\commandos behind enemy lines"
"Type"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Pyro\Commandos\1.0MP]
"DirCd"="D:\\Games (x86)\\Steam\\Steamapps\\common\\commandos beyond the call of duty"
"DirIns"="D:\\Games (x86)\\Steam\\Steamapps\\common\\commandos beyond the call of duty"
"Type"=dword:00000003

But to no avail...
Any other ideas?

Found a working solution here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1128516

For BEL add the following to Commando.cfg

.SIZE [ .INITSIZE 3 ]
.PROFILE [ .USER 0 ]
.DEVELOP 1

For BtCoD just add:

.DEVELOP 1

The file will be located in Steam\steamapps\common\commandos behind enemy lines\output

This will allow you to create a profile and save games.

WOW, thank's a lot erikkire.
It's amazing how just simple letters in one file can make all the difference.

I don't understand where the steam\steamapps\... folder is?
I guess the default path is C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common on a 64-bit machine)
If not, press the 'windows key'+E, then ctrl+F and search for "steamapps"
