I would get this error on starting the game this weekend and I had Xfire running in the background.

After turning off Xfire the game would run just fine. I hope this helps some of the people out there. It seem to remember that I had Xfire and Batman running 2 week ago. However, I think something changed to cause it.

However, on closer inspection it appears that RTSSHooks.dll refers to a DLL in the EVGA Precision package. Once I uninstalled this program functionality came back with Xfire and Batman.
