Hello all,

First post here and I am getting a really annoying problem while playing the game. Let me put down my specs first then go into the problem.

EVGA X58 Classified Motherboard
Processor: Core i7 975 @ 3.5Ghz
RAM: 6GB of Corsair Dominator GT PC16000 @ 1600Mhz (Rated at 2000Mhz)
HDD: 120GB SSD (OS on it). 2x 1 TB Western Digital Green in RAID 0. (All games installed to this drive)
Videocard: EVGA 285 GTX 1GB in Tri-SLI
Videocard Driver version: 190.62 with most recent EVGA SLI Patch
Disk Drive: Pioneer Blu-Ray Disk Drive
OS: Vista Ultimate 64bit
SLI & Physx Setup: Physx set to one of the GTX 285's. The other two are set for graphical processing.

Game/Benchmark Settings:
Fullscreen: Yes
Resolution: 1920 x 1200 (16:10)
V Sync: Yes
Multi Sample Anti-Aliasing: 16XQ
Nvidia Stereoscopic: Off
Detail Level: Very High
Bloom through Ambient Occlusion: Yes
Hardware Accelerated Physx: High

Benchmark results: (I am thinking my computer should get better results?)
Min: 22

Here is the problem. When I am playing I will get HUGE hiccups. For example I am in the first room where the joker has escaped? gameplay is smooth for the most part then will freeze for ~1-2 seconds.

The main problem however is when I open the door to the pacification chamber. This is where things start to go really bad. I will drop FPS all the way down to (I'm guessing) 7-10 FPS. I have no idea what causes this, but I have great FPS until the door begins to open.

Thanks for reading this if you did! :)

You got V Sync on. Turn it off otherwise it's capped to 60fps.

Turn off PhysX and see if it helps.

K I tossed up the testing parameters:

Vsync off with all the settings the same (Phyx still on high)

Vsync off & Physx off

Vsync & Physx on normal

I could play with Physx on normal or off but I think my system can handle it on High but I think is just a game bug or physx driver problem.
